As much as I hate slaughterhouse, it’s way more presentable as a “hardest level” for reactions than Acheron or Avernus Tidal wave is presentable because it looks hard and the beach part is stunning
imo neither are very good to show difficulty for someone who doesnt play gd. people underestimate just how hard they are. the most presentable imo are levels like tidal wave, kyouki, kocmoc, the hallucination, requiem and such these levels are either; fast paced, heavily decorated, hard to follow or all combined which would be the best to present to a non gd player
the worst part about change of scene is that all the showcase videos show the imagine route first, so none of the streamers ever see the even more impressive version of the level
THANK YOU SO MUCH THAT YOU KEPT IN THE CHANGE OF SCENE PART I hate it when I get interested when a streamer does something else than the vid is about and it cuts out. tysm
This shows how dedicated the community is. If someone drops it, always a backup, and that backup always strives to beat it. And some always push the editor to its limit, to the point it has no limit. We the GD community can make anything possible.
I love how the GD community always makes youtubers that has nothing to do with geometry dash watch amazing levels to impress them, make the game more interesting to them and in exchange they get more attention and players. And with 2.2 already out, I don't know what the capabilities to create such beautiful levels anymore,I mean Change of Scene was created in 2.11 Spu7nix created levels such as HOW and W H A T, and even imported a whole PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. So with that in mind I personally think this community will thrive on more and more as time passes on. And also, here is a chocolate chip cookie recipe i guess cause why not? Ingredients for 12 cookies ½ cup granulated sugar(100 g) ¾ cup brown sugar(165 g), packed 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup unsalted butter(115 g), melted 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour(155 g) ½ teaspoon baking soda 4 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate chunks(110 g) 4 oz dark chocolate chunk(110 g), or your preference Preparation In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste forms with no lumps. Whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk and remain for a short while before falling back into the mixture. Sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula (Be careful not to overmix, which would cause the gluten in the flour to toughen resulting in cakier cookies). Fold in the chocolate chunks, then chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense toffee-like flavor and deeper color, chill the dough overnight. The longer the dough rests, the more complex its flavor will be. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop the dough with an ice-cream scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space between cookies and 2 inches (5 cm) of space from the edges of the pan so that the cookies can spread evenly. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown. Cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
I love from speed goes from ooh this looks cool to "WHAT THE F" "WHAT YALL GOT ME PLAYING??!?!??!?!" The sheer look of like horror on his face you can tell he is just astonished by that level.
At the GD awards when Change of Scene won "Best Level ever" I was reslly disappointed. Like a newer Level beats Levels like Death Moon, Revolution, Mastergame or levels like that, that pushed the Boundaries of GD. I didn't know CoS at this time and know I did 100% multiple times on PC and Phone and and now I get why this Level won.
I think that instead of showing levels like slaughterhouse to show how hard gd is, they should show levels like limbo cause its still crazy to think that someone could beat it even as a gd player
It bugs me when they say its a fan made level, like..... THAT IS A LEVEL. I dont think a lot of people wven realize that the whole point of geometry dash and the reason robtop made the game was so you can make your own levels. The robtop levels were designed to introduce the player to what can be expected in the level editor. Sadly though, I feel that a lot of people are unwilling to jump into user made levels because it feels to them like its not an actual part of the gane and they feel like they have to progress through the main levels to get better.
