Multi-Stage Masher in a nutshell: Trying to poke Godzilla to death with a feather.

Wild west day 35 be like: *TRYING TO CUT STEEL WITH A FEATHER*

The reason why a lot of people, including me, find Frostbite Caves easy is because of the plants given. Threepeaters and Rotobagas are multi-target hitters meaning you damage Zomboss way more. Pepper-pult being rare was their way to compensate but there's Hot Potato and Fire Peashooters.

Let's be real, everyone knew multi stage masher would be #1.

Despite the fact that the multi-stage-masher is easily the hardest boss, it’s also my favorite by far. It’s just so unique and it uses the world’s main gimmick way better than any of the other bosses

Never played any of the expanding levels, so I never got to experience pain, and by pain I mean Wild West - Day 35, but the final phase of Multi-Staged Masher is EASILY what makes it the hardest normal boss in the game.

if anything, the 2nd ancient Egypt (expansion) zomboss is easier than the first

My thoughts: 10. Agree. The fact it only has one attack that can actually harm the plants makes it easy. 9. Also agree. If you didn’t get Power Tiles, this fight would way harder. 8. Disagree. The Dinotronic Mechasaur is surprisingly durable, with neither of its attacks being vulnerable to Plant Food. The dinosaurs can be a pain too, especially since you don’t get that many Perfume Shrooms. 7. Agree. Winter Melon and Pea Pod make this fight so easy. 6. Agree. Once you get past the first phase, the boss hardly poses a threat, especially since the only threatening Zombie it summons after that is the Turquoise Skull Zombie. 5. Agree. People really underestimate this boss. 4. Slight disagree. I agree it’s definitely hard, but it should be ranked a bit higher due to how ridiculous the Zombie spam is and the fact that the turbine attack only can be countered with Tangled Kelp. 3. Hard disagree. The boss attacks way too slow, summons Zombies way too infrequently, and you get so many Plants that you can shred through the ice walls super fast. 2. This is personally what I think is the hardest boss, but I can see why you think the Multi-Stage Masher is harder. 1. Agree.

What really makes the dino boss super easy is planting primal potato mines right in front of it. Each one take down like a fifth of the healthbar.

as for the others, Dark Ages was kinda easyish for me, while I haven't fought the sharkron zombot yet due to how BONKERS big wave beach is in difficulty. I get it, its a 5 jalapeno level, but sometimes you gotta spare letting me spend sun and also not having to kill a total OF TEN ZOMBIES in 3 seconds...

Nice list. The Neon Mixtape Tour and Dark Ages ones have always challenged me, but I find the Frostbite Caves onequite simple. Also, the picture you used for the Ankylosaurus is the one from the Return to Jurassic Park DLC for Jurassic World: Evolution.

Multi stage masher: I am the hardest boss Wild West day 35: mark my words, level up your plants and the zombot is so smart it will destroy your electric currents when you plant em so you die to chickens and later on you get no electric currents and the chickens can slip through the electric fence

Out of all the bosses, I always played the Dark Dragon boss over and over, cuz it was the most fun one to do imo

The Multi-Stage Masher can actually be pretty easy if you boost Spore Shroom and Phat Beet in the Zen Garden. Make sure to use the Spore Shrooms when the Glitter Zombies appear to increase your firepower.

Zombot 2: I can summon multiple zombies at once and I have a ton of health, but I still die because of the stupid plants! Zombot 1: I puke cold and hot balls and I die due to plant-pults

With number 1 I agree,because at the last phase littery dr zomboss spams the same zombies and the last part where the gargantuars always gets me to retry and retry again and again

Actually, the neon mixtape tour boss is easyer than you think, sometimes when the gargantuar is near the left side of the lane, it gets kicked out by the shockwave.

Only 1 i desagree on is the frostbite caves. Even tho it has downsides i always feel it way to easy. But otherwise its fine

Haven't played too much pvz2... but i remember the only boss i died to was Neon mixtape one... god that was nightmare.

Zomboss battles ranked by difficulty: (didnt complete BWB yet) 9.Frostbite Caves (Easiest by a country mile, you get billions of plants and so little zombies) 8.Pirate Seas (Cherry Bombs and Coconut Canons make this level really easy) 7.Jurassic Marsh (Awesome plants, easy zombies. Zomboss has really little health but dinosaurs still exist) 6.Far Future (A step-up in terms of difficulty. Strong plants but also strong zombies. Thank to power tiles they should be no problem to deal with) 5.Lost City (Some zombies may be troublesome but the rock summonding really helps. Plants are also pretty good) 4.Wild West (Mine carts require thinking. Both zombies and plants are pretty strong but plants take the edge) 3.Ancient Egypt (Way too hard for the first world! But if you focus your Peashooter plant food attacks at Zomboss you will win) 2.Dark Ages (Terribly hard on the first try. Remember to use Magnet Shrooms and often use Fume-Shroom's plant food effect) 1.Neon Mixtape Tour (First three stages are pretty easy but the fourth destroys you defenses and the Gargantuar one uses your lawn mowers. Remember to stall Gargantuars, not attack them! You have to attack the Zomboss)

Frostbite caves zomboss is the only zomboss that you can afk without planting as zomboss doesn’t spawn moving zombies but zombies frozen that doesn’t move. He only place more ice blocks until column 2 and just attacks with Icicle launch or Trunk frost wind

at number 3 you forgot that you can just AFK for all plants you want to come since zombot cant really win if you dont free any zombies

both jarussic marsh zomboss were jokes(except for the modern day one), they try to make them hard but failed hilariously, for the expansion one, all you need to do is get 4 plant food during first stage, and then bring zomboss down to second stage and plant food the parsnips, if you did not miss, it will completely destroy him

I was thinking of some challenges for the zombies to make them harder: Sphinx-inator: don’t destroy a single grave Plank walker: you can only use two plants that attack(You can use plants to clear up space, but have to shovel them before they can attack) War Wagon: Only plants on the last lane and minecarts. Tomorrow-Tron: Plants can only be placed on power tiles, and you can’t lose any lawnmowers Dark Dragon or whatever the Dark ages one is called: You can’t use magnet-shroom and can’t lose any lawnmowers I forget how the shark zombot works and I lost my progress in the game a while ago, which means due to Big wave beaches difficulty I haven’t gotten back to it yet. The Tuskmaster 10,000 BC: Without heat plants that attack(Hot potato unfreezing a plant is an attack simply because it turns this challenge from hard to stupid easy) The Zombot Aerostatic Gondola: only plants in the second lane The Multi-Stage Masher: Does this even need a challenge? Ok. Win with more than two lawnmowers left Again, I haven’t beaten Jurassic Marsh again yet, so I can’t say any challenges for him. So, do you think all of these eight challenges are possible?

Honestly, I didn't find the multi stage masher too hard. I beat it on my first try. It's kinda like the FC Mammoth Machine, in that it's got blocks of armor that are pretty tough but once it's broken you can just pump damage into zomboss. The final stage wasn't even that challenging because by the time the gargs had spawned zomboss had half a health bar left.

Honestly I don't think neon mixtape tour Dr zomboss is the that because on the early stages of the boss you spam the crap out of phat beats to kill the zombies and on the final stage you can depend on the things that shot showcases because they take a entire Lane and it one shots gargancwars and it's like shooting a lot and to damage the zomboss just spam down cactusius

I couldn't for the love of God clear Dark Ages final stage. I've given up so many times. It's like there's no hope

A small little Funfact: The unnerfed Jurassic marsh boss used to be one of the hardest, if not, harder than dark dragon This was when primal peashooter's peas didnt stun the zombot so it used to overwhelm you with so many zombies and if you had terrible luck getting good offensive plants, its be impossible to beat without some luck

I defeated all bosses and I would agree Neon Mixtape Tour boss Was the hardest. (Multistage smasher) That boss has 5 Health bars, which is insane. It might be short, but getting to the near end was literal hell. Each health bar cleared out will change the boss into a another boss. The purpose of changing the boss is to boost the corresponding zombies who will be spawned who matches it's jam. If a zombie is there who matches with the current music, it gives them their ability. It will disappear if the music changed. It took me a lot of retries to beat that one

Totally agree with this list but Sphinxinator can be beat with spamming.. most bosses can. But with neon mixtape, my niece who was 4 beat by spamming. Although neon mixtape tour is mind infuriating.
