This video contains 19 different releases, 60% of them are movie-scale figures. It's notably much shorter than the previous collection videos of Woody and Buzz. Toy companies and retailers didn't seem interested in producing many versions of Zurg. The first movie-scale Zurg didn't come out until 2012. In my opinion it was a bad decision not to produce a movie-scale Zurg at the time of Toy Story 2.
I didn't include translated or multilanguage boxes since they're basically the same.
As I said in the intro of the video, this list might be incomplete. Chances are that one day another variant will pop up somewhere that I haven't seen before, so the search goes to infinity and beyond!

I found this Two-Pack at 3:45 at an Antique store. The best part: THEY BOTH STILL WORK !

The Buzz Roomguard was my first Buzz toy ever and I wanted the Zurg one SO bad. Its bad enough I never got it. Its even worse I didn't know that a Non Roomguard version of Zurg even existed before the Disney Store variations. Sucks even more cause I had at LEAST 3-5 different Buzz Figures growing up and never had his archenemy (At least not movie scale. I did have one REALLY nice 6 inch figure that could shoot darts)

Interestingly, the Disney Store first released their movie-sized Zurg figure in 2011, but it didn't really catch on until 2012. Unless they were "hidden" and released until a year later.

How do you know they were initially released in 2011? They were first available at Disney Store in 2012. The prototype was shown in 2012 as well.

@@JLightyear2000 Due to the design of the packaging, on the back of the boxes of the first editions, that is 2:35 and 3:38, you can see the design that the Toy Story 3 merchandising had, a white background with that blue finish; it was used from 2010 to 2011. And from 2012, all Toy Story merchandising worldwide, changed the blue finish for a yellow one, and added a little purple too; that is to say just how the design of these packages 3:05 and 3:46. In addition to the fact that in the packaging of that first edition 3:38, in the back they appear announcing the set of Woody and Lotso that were sold in 2010, it is more feasible that something that went on sale only a year ago was announced; instead of it being 2012 and announcing something that was already two years old.

@@TheToystoryChannel The packaging design of the TS3 merchandise is still used today in Disney Parks. They have been using this design since 2010 together with other designs. The packaging designs are not necessarily bound to a certain time period. About the Woody & Lotso pack at the back of his box, I'm sure that product was also released in 2012 (but I haven't found any source for that). Disney presented the prototype on June 2012 at a private event and said they would release the presented upcoming merchandise in the next few months, which means he was released in 2012. I've also seen online forums from 2012 that discussed the figure before it was released.

@@JLightyear2000 From 1995 to date, all Toy Story products, be they toys, clothes, sheets, school supplies, sweets and an eternal etcetera, have always had a packaging design that is subject to a certain period of time. In the case of the Toy Story 3 merchandising, the design was a white background, with a light blue hue and a red color simulating the texture of a cardboard box. It was used in Everything Made and Sold of Toy Story worldwide from 2010 to 2011; and already in 2012 another design was used that I described above. In the case of the first editions (2:35 3:38) of this Zurg figure from the Disney Store, perhaps the Toy Story 3 packaging design was used because they did want to release it before 2012, but due to different circumstances they could not. So they turned to a packaging design that they had probably designed before.

@@TheToystoryChannel It is possible they wanted to release Zurg before 2012 and used the TS3 style packaging. But still, the packaging designs are not necessarily bound to a certain time period. I went to Disneyland yesterday and found several Toy Story toys with the packaging designs of 2009 (the Andy's room themed design) and 2010 (the TS3 style).

There are a few missing. ToysRUs had one that was posable, it has a very weird hinge at the waist that can make it crunch forward

There is one thing I noticed. I found a Zurg with a blue sticker like the ones in the yellow packaging. His eyes didn’t light up, so I did some research and apparently they aren’t supposed to. Weird this one version of the action figure didn’t have glowing eyes and teeth.

None of them actually shoot yellow balls like in the movie, but some of the Thinkway ones have light-up blasters.
