In my country Brazil this show is a masterpiece, the voice actors who dubbed the show to our language nailed it, we watched it several times when we're younger and most of us memorized so many lines, that's why the main actor tyler james used to get so many comments in his posts on Instagram, they're Brazilian people commenting the iconic lines we heard in the show. There were so many Brazilians there, tyler had to limit comments in his posts

This show is arguably one of the best written shows ever. Maybe even best performed lol everyone down to the little sister played their roles SO GOOD

I actually thought Rochelle and Julius where married in real life cause their chemistry was just top tier.

Julius is my favourite TV father , I loved his antics and lines ,it is so relatable and he was a brilliant example to alot of the kids that I grew up with,the fact that no matter what he always had a job,made time for his kids ,loved his wife and was loyal to her

It’s funny how when the roles are reversed she acts like an unappreciated husband lol yet he acts like a good wife taking care of the home 😂

Oh, the number of times I heard "You got McDonald's money?" from my parents growing up working class. This show really depicted that life well.

I love how Rochelle and Julies compliment each other. He lets her pretend she runs the show but you can see she really loves and respects her husband and make sure to cater to him by taking care of all his needs and wants. They bicker but the love is their.

Julius has a very strong will. As a parent living almost in poverty during an economic crisis he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. What he truly wants is the best for his family, at the same time he has to avoid falling prey to the desire to make more money. He remains a morally correct adult man the entire time to the best of his ability.

As a kid to my early teen years i can relate to Chris i had to help raise my sister and always had to do everything chores and be on budget. But now as an adult i can totally relate to Julius even more and i understand his pain family members going over budget and constantly keeping track how much was wasted.

Even for a visual gag that tiny chicken was a bit much 😂😂

He said his name was Mario and he was the baby's father. So then when he left, she came back, and the baby wasn't here. So then she went too get baby back, her mother came the door looking for her and the baby. So then they had a big fight about where to live. She said she'd live at Mario's house. Who is Mario?! So then when she came back, she started braiding Tonya's hair. Drew got to watch the game, you guys came back. She's trying to make it look like everything was all peachy and fine. It's not!* Chris has got some lungs I couldn't say that in one go
