'Everybody loved him': Chicago Fire officials update on death of Chicago firefighter

Fire Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt confirmed Price was on the roof of the four-story building when he fell through a light shaft. Battalion Chief Mike McCormick confirmed Price was responsive when firefighters first reached him. Nance-Holt said Price, known widely as "Drew," was a "workout nut" and a "great leader."

Andrew Price is the fourth Chicago Firefighter to die in the line of duty this year and the fifth to die in the line of duty under Commissioner Annette Nance-Holt's leadership. Local 2 should issue Commissioner Nance-Holt a vote of no-confidence as well as call for her resignation. RIP Andrew Price. Gone but never forgotten. 3-3-5

Sometimes Heroes need protection, or Help. just shows we Should look up to Heroes more Doctors,FireFighters,Police officers. its the people that wear those uniforms knowing the consequences of being so. Heroes Never Die! he's being remembered at this moment, this video will be up for millions to see, Decades to come. RIP Price

An independent panel has to review the tactics that were used that caused the death. Everyone is going to take the hero route to deflect attention away from the real reason. There is absolutely NO GOOD REASON to be on the roof of a burning building to vent when all you have to do is open the windows from the outside and apply water directly on the burning material. Everybody stays safe and gets to go home. Notice how he deflected right to the hero stuff.
