Jose Robles Yes it will, lol. I started Hulu because it was there then was taken off so went to Netflix now it's off there so I'm going to just buy it somewhere lol
@@Nick64266 nope in the 5th episode of the first season Raymond writes a paper saying a woman should never be allowed to fart ever. It’s not ladylike crazy right?
It was a funny show and with good writing. Raymond & Debra got on my nerves he never took anything seriously, didn't really want to spend time with his family, he and she seemed like a control freak & really bossy. My favorite character on this Show was Robert. He seemed caring, thoughtful, loving, genuine, understanding of people feeling. I always thought Robert was the more handsome of the two.
Debra: "Their marriage was like a rock, the one solid rock for me.." Ray: "Well, maybe it was more like a stone, and now it has passed" That part had me cracking up 😄😄😄😄
The end of this Episode is very sweetly poignant. Debra finds out from her Father why he and her Mother are divorcing (and maddeningly why he's so impressed by the ongoing Marriage of Frank and Marie). Ray then promises Debra "No more jokes" as he strides into the Bedroom. He embraces her as she repeats one word "Tighter!"😔📺B.W.
Everyone is hating Debra, but come on. She wants to open up about something that's hurting her and it's being made into a joke. She has feelings too you know. (Relax, I understand it's a fictional show.)
Icicle What are you talking about? He did try to make her feel better once he cracked the joke only she stormed off like a big baby to drown her sorrows in overeating. And as for the Joke? Any one of the Brone's would have made humor including Robert, who himself was having an emotional affair with Debra because Debra's parents were frauds and phony.
@@traviskarnes6825 Okay but there's a time and place for everything. If he knew she wouldn't be laughing at him cracking jokes he should've just listened to her instead of riling her up if he already knew his humor would upset her. Just saying.
@@IshizuMarisol I happen to think you're beautiful and cute as well I can tell you're very caring so I'll meet you halfway yeah it was a very corny joke but I don't think he was knowingly trying to rile her up Ray has never been good at expressing his emotional feelings when it comes to high pressure situations like this so him cracking the joke was him just trying to overly make light of a crappy situation as best as he could as far as her parents goes? Yeah it was sad and it sucked for Debra, but come on Icicle it was a long time coming they where phony as a two dollar bill even her Dad admitted as much.
@@IshizuMarisol Now I want you to meet me halfway and admit her behavior when he was trying to apologize to her both times was shitty. First time he tried to apologize to her and comfort her she stormed off like a complete baby goes down stairs into the kitchen and as we can plainly see drown her sorrows in over eating then he follows her and again he apologizes to her and again she's an asshole to him then she makes a very hateful shitty remark about how it should have been his parents now granted It's quite understandable her being saddened about her parents but it doesn't give her the right to behave in an ill manner when he was trying to apologize and comfort her not once but twice not to mention her behavior towards her mother was completely deplorable as her mother was trying to break the news as best and as gently as she possibly could.
I think Debra takes the heat about getting upset so much, but come on, look what she has to deal with on a daily basis. I enjoy every character on the show. Best show ever.
Kimson89 Raymond is funny. Him laughing at the divorce of Debras parents. He laughed because of the way Debra said it even though it was serious for Debra.
Just wanna say we are not clueless. Just not gone play mind games with you all. Just tell us what's wrong so we can fix it and not speak in code to us.
Hey, Hungry ? You know, if you are interested. I got little candy left upstairs. [ Debra ignore him ] [Ray tried to get the candy and Debra took it away] It's OK, I got my candy. What happened to your parents? Why? You want another good laugh ? I didn't laugh. I am sorry, I am sorry, comeon I am sorry for your parents. It's very bad. I am sorry, we have to talk about that. [ Ray pull the chair and sit down] I want to talk about this with you comeon, we have discussed this. Huh, so.. Your parents Boy ! GO ahead. I don't … What'd you say ? I am sorry I mean, I have to say this I think everybody could see this coming, right ? I mean, remember the thanksgiving how they yelled, was terrible I had a hard time finishing my pie. I know they have problems, Ray . Why you are so surprised ? Because they are my parents they are splitting up what I can't believe they are the one getting divorce should be your parents Wow! I don't think that's particular a nice thing to say I am sorry I think somebody is awfully competitive I am sorry, Ray No, that's fine say what you want to, about my parents you usually do but, I would say this maybe may be your parents are splitting up because they kept everything inside for so long they finally just exploded like when you put a pudding cup in the microwave which is not me, by the way so this doesn't worry you ? what ? what about us ? what do you mean ? what if we head that way ? I keep a lot of stuff inside too No, you don't I drop a sock on the floor you scream like a horror movies there're plenty more I keep inside, believe me It can't be a lot left in there I hate my mother No you don't How do you know it's your mother's fault? It's her fault. She is so …. why is she doing this ? I mean, my parents being together I have counted on that, my whole life through school and college and struggling after college you know I didn't know what I was doing where I was going, at least I had … their marriage was like a rock the one solid rock for me You know, may be it's like a stone and now it's past { Debra stared at Ray and got mad] That's enough all right, what did I do? that's enough, just enough [ and Debra is leaving] you can't have a real conversation you gonna be funny you idiot was that funny ? hey look, comon I am trying to be understanding, ok.. [ Ray run to grab Debra and stop her] I am not one who said idiot but I am willing to overlook because I try to understand You the child live in a broken home [ Debra went upstair]
Did you guys realise this is the only episode where Ray and his parents appear in but Ray doesn't actually share a scene with either Frank or Marie nor talk to them?
You never watched the show because they've had SEVERAL key tender moments, especially in the series finale and how they met episode. Wake up! Ray and Debra like Doug and Carrie and Al and Peg Bundy are what REAL couples are like.
I agree. He laughed and she was hurt, so she said something to him to make him feel the way that she did. You get it!!!!!! You are the only one in this comment section..
Moments where ray deserved a night on the couch: taping over wedding video, tape recording Debra to make a point and saying I understand….you’re a child of a broken home.
Debra was too quick to blame her mother for the separation not wanting to her side her father set the record straight even though she still didn’t want to believe it.
I was nine when my dad left us, my brothers were 7 and 1 year old. He doesn’t live far but there is no contact , only when he needs simething or if we do like for driving classes
Luckily, I was raised, in a house, where my parents, weren't divorced. Though, my mom, put up, with a lot of horrible stuff, from my dad. From what I saw. My dad, was very violent. He destroyed, a lot of things, in our house. Then mom, had to clean it up. Always. I never saw him hit her. I just hope, he never did, when I wasn't around. He got mad at me once, and slapped me, in the face. That is one thing, I think, should never happen. Hit, in the face. Any kind of violence, against a person, is wrong. But hitting, in the face, is very wrong. 😒
@@Michelle-pn9xt She insulted his parents and while Ray was feeling sorry for her,the hortible bitch said that it should be HIS PARENTS DIVORCING,AKA HIM EXPERIENCING THAT. Ray is the onl one with feelings and Debra isnf a women she's a raging bitch and she doesn't deserve him. And we all know she secretly envies their parents relationship, but she even complimented her parents traveling around the world like it has to do anything with marriage and look down on the Barones for not traveling
I actually think this is a sweet moment between them here. Debra worries about their marriage if her parents' seemingly perfect marriage didn't works out showing it does means lot to her even if she and Ray sometimes bickers. On Ray's end, he is actually very gentle and reasonable with her even if he is giving her some hard facts that she may not want to hear. It is so sweet how in the end of the episode, Debra wanted him to hold her in bed to feel better and he does that for her.
When your a child and your parents split up its devastating. When your middle aged and your parents split up.... Honestly who cares? Shit I was 13 when my parents split and it was almost a relief.
