I could be wrong, but I've been using 1/2 square per 'm' of wind per 100 yard of distance. So if I'm 50 yards from the pin, I'll use 1/4 square per 'm' of wind.
I don't see any point in keeping track of the sway when it's so variable. You can't control it and all you can try to do every shot is hit a perfect impact. Though I really like the game, I really dislike how variable they made it. I would've much preferred that they'd have the sway exactly consistent with where you hit your impact. Like if you stop too early then make the ball sway left and if too late then make it sway right (and make it sway more the more you're timing is off).
Great video! How come there's still sway to your shots if you hit a perfect impact? Is this something that a stat like Control improves as you level it?
Yes in this version there is the possibility of considerable sway even with a PI. Leveling Control reduces the severity of the spray but not the frequency of it occuring.
Gotcha, thank you. One more question, how should I approach uphill vs downhill lies when it comes to power? How come you increased your power to overcome a downhill lie? Wouldn't the downhill lie carry the ball further?
Since I was shooting into an uphill elevation, the downhill lie means my ball is going lose trajectory and therefore hit the ground sooner and be slowed down (due to the elevation), thus not going as far as a flat lie or uphill lie.
That "sway" on the bottom left white bar is AWFUL. I couldn't figure out why I was shanking even when I hit a perfect impact. TERRIBLE! That means this game is "luck" and "random" and not skill because even if I hit a perfect impact, I am at the mercy of a game to randomize my shot. I have lost many boss battles from feature that even though I hit frequent perfect shots. Thank you for informing me that this game was terribly designed and it is not just me losing my mind. LOL. That is just terrible. I don't want to play a game that is "random" even if I get really good at it.
Ugh....all of this is complicated. All I want is an arcade golf game without all the realistic factors such as trajectory, wind, variables and all that crap.
