Everybody's talking about Jamie - 8/6/24 - Evening Performence - Marlowe Theatre
OMG! such an amazing show based on a true story of Jamie Campbell! Loved every second of it! Yes, we did have 3 understudys but that didn't bother me.
Ivano Turco was amazing as Jamie New! Such great vocals! This was my first time seeing him perform and I think he may now be may favourite theatre performer!
Georgina Hagen played Margaret (Jamies mum) this evening! Saw her play Miss Flemming in Heather's a few years ago at the Marlowe and was amazing to see her perform again tonight! She played the role amazingly, and she's such a good singer!
Kevin Clifton I wasn't sure about at first, he plays a bit of a funny character and could never Imagine him playing a drag queen. But after a while I loved him. Amazing Hugo/Loco Chanelle So glad I got to see him perform again.
Sejal Keshwala was really funny as Ray! Constantly made us laugh.
Talia Palamathanan was Amazing!!! She was funny, cute and in all ways a perfect Pritti Pasha!
All the Drag Queens were equally funny and amazing.
Jordan Ricketts as Dean was amazing! Love him, even though he is Jamie's bully. Can't imagine him being mean in real life though!
And all the rest of the cast were Phenomenal too!
Overall I 100% recommend seeing it if you can before the tour finishes! If I could I would see it again.
