Our forums: forums.deriums.com/index.php Daily pack opening channel: / dailypackopening Playlist: • Card Shop Life We just film the boring crap that happens at the store. This series is 100% true, Not a single thing is scripted.
Thief: "I have a problem where I black out, steal stuff, then wake up with new stuff." Xemit: One of 10 envelopes for "staff" every two weeks. McQuacks: "Who put these boobs on my chest? Also, why is the shop having such a crappy day today?" I can't think of anything else to summarize. I hope all your stuff gets in tomorrow :)
i love your video's lol they literaly are the everyday life of card store's i play at my local here in daytona fl i subscribed to your channel keep the good shit coming!!!!!!!
I live in richmond, it shouldn't be too far away from you guys, I was actually planning on driving down to akron sometime soon and just checking out your store.
yeah my local shop had their order "stopped" due to "weather" and we only got an inch of snow.....oh well should be in 2marrow really wanting to open some packs
wow my lgs almost never gets problems like that and we get like lots of snow, every day, all day and orders almost never get stopped. All dem peoples are wimps
wow, that is a lot of product, and it doesn't seem like THAT large of a store, it completely dwarfs the two stores we have in our area. 300 booster boxes sold?? that is incredible!
+Jamie Keddie I think the point was he stole from them and after he felt bad about it he didn't even return all of what he took. Pretty sure he took a bunch of cards that were worth a ton at the time.
How many people actually work in the store? Seems like on every episode there are just tons of people behind the counters. As a store owner I'd be nervous as hell.
Happy you got some of your cards right, I would still report it to the police right, I am glad you are still handling it well Kevin. You gave the thief a chance and he still didn't return everything, you gave him the chance and that thief blew it by NOT doing the right thing
Jesus Christ, steal from walmart or target, not mom and pop game stores like these. A lot of these stores are barely making enough money cause of competition online and department stores yet you still want to steal from them? Have some goddamned decency for yourselves.
i don't understand why stores open boxes with strangers? i mean its ok to trust regulars since you know their friends, where they live, locals, but in any case, never leave your post as the owner, or hire someone as the manager who's always there.
What the hell do you expect when so many players are all about how much the cards are worth? Which is heavily encouraged by WotC. You cannot expect ethical behaviour from addicts.
You should expect ethical behavior from adults, regardless of their tendencies. All hobbies can become addictive, and it is the responsibility of the adult to be responsible in how much they indulge in their hobbies, regardless of what it is.
Did you ever catch that thief? Did you make him pay the price? Do I need to find him and hog tie him and have a pretty red bow wrapped around him? Would you like a pinata apparatus installed in to the shop for him?
I hope you get all your other stuff back guys. I do think we should have this thief just get the shit beat out of him or thrown in jail will you taking all his cards
+Kızıl “ArcnoriA” tuğ You realize the "money" is "just" papers, things have value because we give them value, diamonds are nothing but super heated compressed carbon, like coal, but people are willing to pay thousands or millions of dollars for that, almost everything is "just" something when you simplify it. As far as Magic, you are paying for development of the game, artwork that artists should get a shitload of money for it's amazing, tournaments and other events and shipping and all that extra stuff.
It's RU-vid, it's happening on all the videos, or at least all the ones I go on. I just change the quality, then it works. Stupid thief is stupid, of course he knows everything he took, what an asshole. I'd be calling the cops asap, which it looks like you guys did. Tomorrow's a new day... A better day!
You guys really need a store room of sorts. I get people should be expected not to steal, but with the loose attitude you display on the show, new product and what not seems like it should be more secured. But of course you know more than I and have much more experience. I just care about you guys and your success!
How old is this person?! The handwriting was... let's just say barely legible... It is probably good that you weren't there. You would have probably slaughtered him if he only came back with that amount. It is bad that we couldn't see this slaughtering possibly take place. But on a more serious note. I don't know why you didn't report this to the cops. This is property and that is thievery. From the handwriting and the hesitance in calling the police, I would assume this person to be very young to somewhere in their mid teens. If they are not, you should, and I emphasize "should," have called the cops. Even if they are young, I would still call the cops (maybe this is why I should never open a store). This is beyond pathetic for the person. I am surprised nothing has happened as of yet if he is a known thief. This softness needs to stop and he/she has to feel consequences. From the sound of it, they have not been reported and has not felt any consequences thus far, because it keeps happening. So, I personally say make a stand. This was a good median, but obviously it didn't work because he did not return everything. It seems more like a last stand for them to get away with it and personally I see it as a slap in a face to you guys. Some of you might think I am a bit harsh, but I cannot stand this kind of behavior. Think of it as if this were you, in Kevin's shoes. Sure, you might do what he did, but what if he steals from more people and stores? Cut the line, before it drags everyone in.
Sephvion We will explain our actions in a few days. But I will say, I gave him a chance because people do fuck up. And I personally have so much on my plate right now, I just want to focus on getting my website live. Not deal with police and courts. I'm stretched thin enough. And as for his age, he's in his early 20's. He's well beyond the age where you can claim stupidity.
PriestKikyo less swearing makes things more accessible. A large amount of people watch these videos and To an extent I wouldn't want people to think my crew of players always swear.
***** The fact that your statement is thumbed up so many times proves the stupidity of the lefty mindset regarding guns in America. Everything about firearms in the states in the first half of your statement is 100% false.
