After flying around the world a few times over with the Merrell Chameleon flex shoes, we finally got Peter to change them out for some new kicks (Merrell Chameleon Prime Stretch Kangaroo). This is a general review of 4-5 years of field testing the Everyday Carry Tactical Shoe Review Merrell Chameleon. EDC shoes, bug out shoes, EDC footwear should allow you to move on all terrain, be comfortable, and agile.
If you are an everyday carrier (EDC), low profile PSD, plain clothes field officer, etc you need shoes that move with you and don't slow you down. These Merrell Chameleons have been tested on the vastly different terrain from Sub-Sahara Africa, all of Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and most of North America. This Merrell EDC shoe, could be used as a tactical shoe or even Bug Out Shoe option. Thanks for watching!

I bought a pair back in 2016 and still going strong. I wear them everyday at work, some minor wear and tear but nothing major. I’ll probably end up getting a new pair but I’ll still be rocking my old pair

I had the luck to find a brand new set of Chameleon II on sale on line by 70euro and did not hesitate. As soon as I put them on my feet, man, they felt like beeing used for all my life instead of that unconfortable feeling of unbroken footwear. Very happy with them, will be using them tonight on a small trail to have a more accurate feedback.

I absolutely love merrills trail glove barefoot shoes. So much my favorite, i have about 12 different pairs with a new pair on order. I also had a pair of chameleons until they finally fell apart. But trail glove gets 5 stars from me.

I had a pair that I eventually dry rotted out (took ages) when I went back for another pair they said they stopped making them. Seems I am now back in the market for some 😊

I'v recently purchased asics gel-fujitrabuco 5 g-tx and i love this shoes. Extremly comfortable. Can't tell anything about durability.

how the heck do you shorten the laces? I tuck them under the laces and they still have to the tips of my toes..

The new Chameleons aren't any where as good as the old version... Vibram soles are no more.. arch support was horrible. Base is thinner.... My feet started hurting bad after a week.... The New Merrell Chameleon Prime Stretch are junk

Junk is something that is of little use...I know four people personally that tried the new versions and couldn't wear them very long...as compared to the previous model. Are you wearing the new Prime versions?

Weird... I got myself the Chameleon Stretch II and they have Vibrant soles, as well as my Intercept !
