Love these suggestions. I love a simple dress for summer - it feels more feminine and it’s a one and done look. I get a lot of comments from friends when I wear a dress that I look so ‘dressed up’ compared to them in jeans and tees. Once I had a summer maxi dress on in the grocery store and a perfect stranger asked me if I was going to a party, I looked so pretty! No, I was just grocery shopping, lol. Thanks Marnie! I am definitely a dress girl! Love the “one and done” aspect lol. Most of the dress as I am a super comfortable wearing at home especially since I work from home. And then very easy to dress up with a pair of booties or shoes.
I hear ya! I’ve tried to live in TX 4 times and just can’t do the heat and humidity. I was raised in WI and I will take 30 degrees with a down vest and layers of silk and fleece anytime. We are supposed to get about 8 inches of snow tonight so tomorrow will be a play in the snow day with my sod .
The dresses look so comfy. With my bat wings I just don’t feel comfortable unless my arms are covered. I have white and tan linen jackets that are parts of a set, maybe I could try that. Really like the longer maxi dress.

I wear skirts and dresses 90% of the time Spring thru Fall. Like you, I find them easy & comfortable to wear and they work very well when traveling. Pro tip: if your legs are shapely, grab a pair of the new women’s boxers! I wear them all the time with my skirts and dresses and they’re a game changer. Another plus for wearing dresses is that they take up less space in your suitcase than separates 👍. Another great video, thank you. I’ve been eyeing Necessaire for awhile. :) Especially the body serum. This is right uk my ally and I am a dress gal - although I’ve been wearing pants more this winter than I usually do 😂 I love pairing dresses in the spring with my denim jackets. Ok, you may have changed my mind about dresses with this video. I'm in Alabama, so I'm with you on heat and humidity factors. I've just never found a dress type that had all the features (read pockets) and also made my rectangle body shape look better. That navy tiered dress is perfection, and I love me a good V-neck, so the large print tiered midi may also be one I try. Thank you for such great content! 🩷♥️🩷
The body serum I’ve been using since Xmas. I had a spot on my leg that I thought looked suspect by the time I got in with the derm in early February the spot was gone. That serum is worth every penny

I wonder if you would share what you wear under to get a smooth look. I'm particularly thinking about the first dress you showed -- sometimes dresses like that can be very unforgiving in terms of showing lumps, lines, etc. if you aren't wearing the right undergarment. I second the motion on that. I love the idea of “one and done” for a dress, but as a pear shaped woman, I need something to prevent my thighs from chafing that also is “slick” and won’t have the dress stick to it. Not a shaping garment, but also one that won’t show pantie lines. The holy grail of underwear that I’m not sure exists. Now, it all seems less effortless and cool. I’m not a dress person for that reason, but really feel like wearing dresses this year, so would love to see a video on undergarments.

Amen! I can rarely find anything in Walmart in XS anymore. My favorite Time & Tru pants that I have several pairs of are now WAY too long when I recently ordered two more pairs. An XS sweater I ordered in fall fit my 6’5” 240 lb husband! I wish someone would open a skinny short girl store!😂

I just have never been able to understand the full length dress phenonium. To me I look slimmer in crop pants than a long dress, unless it is form fitting (not sure how practical those are day-to-day). When I try them on, I see a tent. Also, I see a non-mainstream religious look. I have really tried to understand the appeal, beyond the comfort, but alas it is lost on me.
