good technique, brushes, and making informed purchases of the right drugstore products are far more important than having the exact same products as him! the products he used can mostly be easily duped too, there is no super unique colours or formulas. as a makeup artist, money is no object in the products he chooses to use, but that doesn't mean those are the only good products out there. i really love max factor radiant lift foundation which is supposedly a dupe for the dior face and body, similar shades of shadow can be found in the nyx ultimate edit palette in the shade warm neutrals, and a great fine-textured drugstore highlight is the essence pure nude highligher. drugstore mascaras are generally great anyway and rosy nude lipglosses are a dime a dozen. bronzer/contour and brow products i think are more individual, and can make or break a look depending if the colour is right for you, so i'd spend more in these categories if need be. there are likely tons of options right in front of you!

It's pretty thin but not sticky - it does dry SUPER fast and can stain your hands if you're applying it there first - so if you're worried then put it on a palette first and work from there ♥️
