For the longest time, I was sad about not pursuing someone after my long-term relationship, but I have so much shit going on I feel like I've finally come to terms with it's time to love myself, grow internally, and learn to love others for who they are before diving into a relationship again. Your makeup looked so cute and I hope you are well shawty! 💋💋💋

I’ve been watching you long before you went vegan and it’s definitely interesting seeing you grow as a person. And man can I relate to the convenience of being a vegetarian. I started out as well as a vegan, ended up transitioning to vegetarism due to disordered eating. It’s ALWAYS a topic when you’re a vegan, even if you try your best to not bring it up, you’ll always be left out unless you’re surrounded by people who have a similar lifestyle as you. And it’s usually a stressful time, always hated getting invited to food gatherings, because I knew my restrictions would become a hot topic at the dinner table again. It can turn into a very isolating experience when you then also get attacked for it and even to this day as a vegetarian, I will still have these situations. And sometimes even just complete disregard for my diet, I’m okay with you going to a steakhouse but if you see they’ve got no options there for me at all, don’t be mad if I’m not super enthusiastic about going there. And unfortunately where I’m located, even vegetarian options are limited and eating out with my family who love meat gets difficult. Another thing is that sometimes when they’ve got a vegetarian option and it’s just a basic salad for 18$ I’m just like man I could easily make this at home and not spend 18$. I appreciate there’s an option, but after yeeeears of lackluster vegan/vegetarian dishes it’s like can I please get a proper meal? It sounds in a way entitled and I’m sorry for that, ultimately they don’t have to cater to my needs and if it bothers me so much, I should just not go out but it’s just sometimes a bit disheartening. Obviously I’ll still take some fries with ketchup at a restaurant over nothing at all, but you get my point. So yeah, I definitely get the struggle and I think it’s good you’re trying to be more flexible with food for your health, the guilt is heavy for sure but you being mindful of what you consume is great!

I just got diagnosed with ibs and struggle to eat sooo many different types of food, it made me feel less alone hearing someone talk about the experience of having digestive issues 💘
