I think it would be nice at the end of your tutorials if we could see the makeup in natural light as well! Throughout the entire tutorial I could see your studio lights reflecting/beaming on your face (particularly your forehead and apples of your cheeks) making the products seem way more radiant than they actually are. I love the high quality lighting and it definitely helps, but in dewy/radiant makeup tutorials it definitely alters the true effects of what the products do! So it would be helpful to see a small clip at the end in natural light as well so we can see the true limitations and expectations of the products! x
karissaxplainsitall spironolactone (the nongeneric name is aldactone.) it’s for hormonal acne. I just went on the same prescription so I feel exactly what she’s feeling. 😂
Snap fammmmmmm - YASSSS right on time for my lunch break 🙌🏼 and YAS to partnering with Nordstrom!! Be radiant! Be amazing! AND KEEP ALL THE FOSTER PUPPIES!!!!
so i just now came across this video. ive been looking for a good natural look tutorial for days now and discovered your channel. i just cant express enough how refreshing it was to watch a tutorial by a woman who actually sounds down to earth and so relatable. Your personality and the way you talk has been such a wonderful oddity to find in my youtube quests. To be honest ive almost given up on finding a "beauty guru" i can just tolerate listening to. i just had to commend you on your beautiful work and just say how happy I am to have found it! thank you!!
The most beautiful natural make up look I've seen. These are trends Asians look for. Wish more of these can be shared, I love knowing the products good for a naturally radiant makeup look!
Her skin is very dewy/glossy naturally to begin with. I have used Laura mercier primer but the end results are nowhere close. Someone with naturally dull skin needs to do a video.
I have dull/dry skin and I don't tend to use primer only because I find they make my makeup worse. I just moisture and do on top of that which lets me get that dewy look that makes me look healthy. If that helps I know this is late as hell 😂
You can acheive that with essential oils before primer, wait 5 mns till it dries, algo try some glowy primer that helps a lot! Try yo avoid “velvet finish” makeup, try something lighters and a good liquid shimmer, I do this and My skin looks naturally glossy. Also use a liquid blush, hope it helps 😚
This has to be probably the BEST everyday glam makeup look I have ever seen!! I love a “natural” makeup look & gravitate a lot to Desi’s natural everyday video but THIS is absolutely STUNNING! I can see me re creating this look over & over!! Thank you Katie! You look stunning!!
kyra williams utterly groundbreaking! The world would be shook...she would be out here fixing our real life problems, helping us prosper in the real world!
kyra williams i have large pores and highlighting only emphasizes the pores. So although i am soooo into this look, it doesnt work for me. Unless there's a trick that does otherwise. Groundbreaking tutorial indeed.
I use the Estée Lauder cream stick foundation as a bronzer... it blends and sheers out so beautiful.. doesn’t mess up makeup either! I’ve been to all cream and liquid stuff lately bc I’ve been so dry like you. Life savors! 🙌🏼💕❣️
omg obsessed, I loved it . I have seen so many youtube tutorials and the looks are amazing but totally not me . this dewy natural look is totally up my ally
Yes, I love this just all around hydrating makeup. I have dry skin and I love this makeup routine. You should do one with an eye look but still liquid makeups, idk how that would work but something that we could wear to an event or evening look with all liquids?
LustreLux YES! You should try the NARS multi purpose stick for a “ liquid” bronzer.... an oldy but it’s awesome! I use two colors, altai when I’m not that tan, which looks like what you would use. I live in AZ and when my skin is dry and I don’t want to use a powder I use this, I either apply directly on or I buff some on with a brush. It blends perfectly ;-) love your vids and your flawless application ❤️
I just watched this whole video with my mouth hanging open....1. Because your skin is out of this world 2. That anyone has skin this beautiful that they would want it to glow even more! 3. I wish I could allow my skin to be that dewy!! Your stunning and your hair is adorable!!
Girl you NEED the temptu liquid shimmer bronzer (it doesn’t have glitter or anything) it looks so natural and healthy on the skin and blends out like a dream!!! It’s the best liquid bronzer I’ve found!
Living for the glow. Honestly, wish I cared a little bit more to take this look to the gym. Maybe without foundation but for sure concealer and everything else.
You can try the Estée Lauder Cushion Stick bronzer. For me it works best when I just use my fingers to blend it in my skin. I think I haven’t figured out how to use the sponge that is on it! Excellent routine! That type of glow and radiance is something I try to achieve! ♥️🌸
Katyyyyy!!!!! If your eyes are dry, maybe you have ekzema or an allergic reaction to a product! I had something similar in the last summer because of the setting powder by makeup forever! If it isn't getting better just go to a dermatologist.
Bc when your skin is extremely dry it throws off your pH and it begins to overcompensate for the dryness and over produces oil. So generally to see excess oil in a place that FEELs dry is bc it’s TO dry. However oily skin is a GOOD thing for longevity purposes. Bc oil is a preservative it literally preserves the skin. Prevents wrinkles etc.
Bella Swinson my skin is deathly dry and I can't get it to produce a drop of oil (I used to be fried chicken greasy in HS) I was diagnosed with rosacea and that is why I'm dry but damn why can't I get just a little overproduction over here.. sincerely DesertFace
Skin does not change pH like that! It has to do with the skin's moisture barrier. Skin cannot produce moisture (water) on its own, so it produces oil to keep in whatever moisture is left when it gets too dry. Oil is no way a preservative, it does not "preserve" the skin. It is an occlusive. And it keeps the moisture in so that is why people with oily skin tend to have more plump skin and show less signs of aging.
I have been watching you for a long time, and have seen you with all of your different hair colors and I just wanted to say that I LOVE the color you have now!! I think it compliments you skin very well as well as your eye color!
Hi, you r my sunshine (: this look is amazing lol. If youre looking for a BOMB ASS cream contour, I use the Wet'n'wild Chubby contour stick in the shade Oak's on you. Its literally my addiction and I feel like you'd totally be into it
ive heard the chanel cream pot bronzer thing is amazing! i aint fancy so i don't have it or use it or even know the real name but a lot of people love it!!! also this is so beautiful i need every single product especially that skin tint
KAtyyyyyy the bareminerals serum bronzer is THEE shit its my go to! I used to use the perricone md no bronzer serum bronzer which also has spf but after a while i developed an allergy to it not sure why but since then ive been using the bare minerals serum bronzer. might be a tad orange on your skintone as you are a couple shades lighter but not too sure try it out chicka!! love ya!
The Bare Minerals serum bronzer is the best! I have very similar coloring to Katy so it should work for her! Glad to hear that someone else enjoys this under-hyped but fantastic product!
This is such a beautiful look and your skin looks flawless. I'd love for you to try recreating this in another 10 years to see if it's just as easy to do on more mature skin.
I don't do lower lash mascara either! It looks bad with my eye shape, and i have never seen someone else who does not do it, I am happy to see you do not either
!!!Stuff to buy from Walmart!!! Elf hydrating powder! I use infallible foundation (the liquid one) and you can mix a bit of a liquid highlighter for an even more glowy look Use a lipstick as a blush You don’t need a highlight stick per se just a highlighter. Use a shimmery eyeshadow Go to your local black beauty supply and get a lipgloss from a thing by the counter (they’re like a dollar) and just put that over your regular lipstick. That should get you a look pretty close to this one :)
Dry flaky + oily skin means your skin is dehydrated. It lacks so much moisture in the deeper levels that it overproduces oil to protect itself. Most of the time it wont help to put on moisturizers om top bc the problem lies deeper. hyaloronic acids (in serums) help
Water doesnt always help dehydrated skin. I drink TONS of water, yet my skin is dry and dehydrated still. Skincare is going to be your best friend, regardless of skin type
You have lovely skin dear, and so do I finally. I had HORRIBLE acne and tons of scars but things have gotten better since I changed my diet. Lots of water, veggies, and fruit. I like the product you showed as well for a boost, but it starts on the inside ❤💕💓
