Today, we are going to model some truss for a hip roof. It is for indicative purpose only. The main idea is to use the Attach Top tool.
You did some changes after I finished the video, you can download the Revit file showing in the preview thumbnai.

great tutorial, may i add by selecting pratt flat truss, i have been able to match change of roof slope to truss when attaching truss to roof. skipping the step of creating a new truss family

And at 6.02 u didn't create corner slanted member in family but when u load in project its shows corner slanted member...

Can u plz help me at 9.08 u create a new truss that small one but when loaded in project its shape it's like a triangular but did nt create triangular one in family its one side vertical and some web ...plz clearify the funda ....thanku sir

And plz do one thing if u feel free put all ur family truss in one category so if some one want to learn about truss he or she will get ...in one folder.

Hi sir..at 5. 58 u created family 3 truss ok...but how that one family fit with different shape in same truss ..i.e one is pointed at upper corner nd one is flat at upper side...thanku

When you attach the truss to the roof, the top cord will follow the roof shape.
