@@BenjiDubss and the E-M5 MkIII is about to be announced! Gosh, I hope Olympus doesn't let us down with the new one. I love my MkII, and the 5L bag is perfect for it with the 12-40mm lens on it. BTW, that lens is amazing. You need one if you don't have one.

Matt Johnson • I don’t have that lens. I’ve had the 14-45 and 40-150 4/3rds Kit lenses (likes the 40-150 so much I kept it), the 14-54mm Pro lens for 4/3, and the the 14-42 and 40-150mm Micro4/3 lenses. I didn’t find that I needed the Pro lens much, the extra stop was nice but it was hard to say the extra sharpness changed the emotional impact of viewing my photos (plus I was dead broke). I also preferred the old 40-150 lens over the micro4/3 40-150mm, because it did seem to add enough “extra” to shots (and it was easier to sell the newer m4/3). Now, I have more money, I’m not working in portraiture but sometimes I shoot Studio product stills and short demo videos (not high production quality), and of course I still enjoy the hobby (moreso now than when I shot portraits for money). I have an E-PL5, the kit 14-42mm, evf, FL-600R flash, a 40mm f/1.8 legacy lens, and the 4/3rds 40-150mm (I need a 4/3 to m4/3rds adapter). The E-PL5 has been serviceable, but it drives me nuts because the adjustment ring around the d-Pad slips and changes settings even if I don’t touch it. I’m thinking of selling it, the kit lens, and EVF, and picking up a new body for like $300 (E-M1 for PDAF and legacy lens AF support, or maybe an E-M5 Mk II), and a Movie and Stills Compatible lens, like a 17mm f/1.8 or a newer version of a kit zoom, and someday pick up a 45mm f/1.8 and an ultra wide zoom (I often have wished for wider). For a high-shooting pleasure, low critical user, what body & lens would you suggest as an upgrade from what I have now?

Maybe the iPad Pro is too square of a shape? So a narrower 11” (2:3 ratio instead of the iPad’s 4:3 ratio) might fit? I don’t actually know, just guessing. The iPad Pro 11” also doesn’t have extra bezel space for the home button and a much smaller bezel for the front facing camera. It’s still a 4/3 ratio screen though.

I was all set to pop for one until this. Fits an 11" tablet but not a 10.5" tablet. Someone wasn't paying attention in that math class dealio.

I carry a 10.5 inch iPad Pro with smart keyboard in mine (rear slot behind divides). It’s tight but no major issue.

Peak Design says it can fit up to 11” tablet but specifically says NOT the 10.5” iPad Pro. A 9.7” iPad or Galaxy Tab would be fine.

Should fit w/ just one cam & lens. I carry 2 small Fuji's w/ 2 lenses. Just about 1 liter too small. I bought the Manfrotto. A hair bigger & almost half the price. I hear this is now $100. So less than half.

It's a great charges and battery combo. I've used it extensively, and it works to charge the Olympus batteries as well

No, it doesn’t. It takes pretty long to charge a battery so I wouldn’t want to use a power bank on the go.

Gearology yeah it’s cleaner, and the surface kinda softer and smoother from the video and photo I seen, but if you need to put in something when you bought something while you travel, you can expand your bag or still got space left to carry in the 10L while the 5L probably filled full or too short to add long stuffs, right?

The 5L will definitely not fit anything else. Even a water bottle is tough sometimes. I would suggest getting the 10L first and if you feel that its too big, then return it and downsize. I actually want an even smaller bag but I highly doubt that Peak Design will make a 2L.

So I use a 3LT Travis, was thinking of the 10L to strap on for hikes, or photowalks, do you prefer to carry your tripod in your hand then with this smaller 5L? It seems more awkward to carry two things or even two bags (+ tripod bag) and then have to put it down to take a shot instead you can still access your bag even if you don’t need a tripod for a particular shot.

I find it easier to just hold the tripod in my hands, especially when I don’t fully fold the tripod when moving locations quickly.

I didn't test it myself but Peak Design specifically mentions that it does not fit.

To be fair, his camera and lenses are weather sealed, so even if the cap came off these would be fine (except maybe the battery charger). Most likely, though, there would only be perspiration from the colder temp of the bottle, and most cameras can handle that.

Also in that position on your lower back isn't it quite easy for you to be robbed?

@@nomatesman I personally never worry about being robbed. I almost wish someone would try to rob me. It would be worth them trying just to see the look on their face when I open them up from their gut to their throat. Or in carry friendly areas, leave their brains on the sidewalk. Always be prepared to defend yourself and those you care about. If I had absolutely nothing else available I would literally beat them with the very camera they were trying to steal until it disintegrated into dust just to ensure they got what was coming to them. My issue with "standing out" has to do with not wanting the people I am trying to take photos of to notice my intentions.

I think it could. I fit a canon 70-200 f/4 in the 5L. Your best bet is to buy from Amazon to see if all your gear fits. If not, return it for a bigger option.

I haven’t handled that model yet. I can’t say for sure if it could fit.

Wha? If the Dell’s screen size is 13” diagonal, yet a 10.5” iPad Pro can’t fit (iPad has quite small bezels, just a bit taller on the longest side), I highly doubt the Dell would fit.
