When I read this I hadn't considered more than one actor playing Everyman, but considering what Everyman represents I must admit it does seem appropriate. Well done.

coming to watch this after reading and listening to it. I am so grateful for portland community college to upload this these actors have no clue how intensely they are being watched by fellow college students from all over. lol
This is so helpful for my university Drama class where we are reading Everyman amongst other plays. The acting is so well done and the costumes are so fun and lively that I actually enjoyed every minute of this production. Because I was enjoying myself it made it that much easier to absorb the tale itself and the themes. Thank you for putting on such a wonderful performance!
This is so much fun. I love the Peter Brook touch of the stilts, the puppets. I watched this with very low expectations. This is easily one of the most fun things I've watched in a long time.
What a fascinatingly unique production! I used a few clips in an undergraduate presentation to illustrate the effectiveness of allegory, and it couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks!
This helped me understand the story more and fully grasp what I was reading. Definitely needed this something like this for my final project. Bravo everyone!!
i really liked this i am studying christopher marlowe docter faustus and was reading about morality plays and everyman was mentioned so i came here on youtube to check it out throughly enjoyed it.
Reading the play can be a little boring, so I had my tutee watch this while we read and discussed the play. Made things a LOT easier and faster. Very interesting design and transitions. Was a little skeptical of the parts that were left out; good job nevertheless.
In costumes ,background music and strange stage-props,the present production of "Everyman" takes us back to the darkness of medieval age.But as the internal message of Everyman is,it is universal,-appealing to all the ages and all the places of the world.Thereby appealing today as well.Indeed Gooddeed remains as the only real friend and rescuer of mankind (Everyman).Fellowship, Friends and Kinsmen only follow man in happier times, only to abandon him in crisis.
basically from what i'm understanding. It Doesn't matter how much Strength, Beauty, Knowledge, among other things that you possess. As long you're a good person. You're good deeds will follow you into heaven
Yeh, pretty much (I have to write a paper on this next week, that's why I'm here) But you're on the right track. This play shows that the material and physical aspects of life mean nothing when death comes knocking, it is what we do and the actions we take that we will "take" to Heaven for God to hold accountable. Good luck on the project!
I liked the interpretation - suitably simple with the puppets reinforcing the allegorical nature of the play. The production would have been enhanced if a greater variety of ages had been represented by 'Everyman'. Thanks for sharing it.
I just saw this play in Huntsville Alabama at UAH campus it was much simpler but quite well done I was watching this to gather what was actually said at the end and if they left anything out
Caleb Dalby I actually laughed this is so true. I’m in high school and we are doing this play and it’s funny that some people think they can do better so they judge😂
Uh...so yeah. The story itself seems interesting to me. The cast and acting however is slouchy and half-way asleep through their performances. There is no real urgency or character to the scene. Get some coffee in them!
I directed this play at university and also acted. It is a shame to see such crap like this. No urgency and tension in the acting.Even the casting is lacking. No fear evoked. Bruno Bakahika would also trash this too.
I’m sorry, the guy who plays God just isn’t that great. He’s reading it like he doesn’t understand what he’s actually saying. And I feel the stilts were very distracting because he couldn’t stand still on them.
