Sam Marin is a very underrated VA. You can practically feel the rage he gives in episodes like Think Positive and Busted Carts (he deadass actually blew his voice out when he did Think Positive).
Well, that is until The Best Burger in the World, A Bunch of Full-Grown Geese, Firework Run, Lunch Break, and Operation: Hear No Evil (mostly) made Benson unlikable.
@@jaydtuareagibsonchannelcar8313 Maybe, but after The Best Burger in the World, a lot of people had lost their respect for Benson at that point. Even in Busted Cart, which actually came out after The Best Burger in the World, I no longer felt any remorse nor sympathy for Benson anymore.
@@smolfry3438 Simply unlikely because Benson needs to hold his rage in for a long period of time and he knows how destructive it is. So you're technically correct but it's irrelevant
In Benson’s rant to mordecai and Rigby in “Think positive” there were several references that were mentioned in the show. “Trying to teach you simple responsibility” = House Rules “But you wouldn’t know a Job well done if you paid someone to do it for you” = Temp check “You can’t even follow the simplest of instructions” = Just Set Up The Chairs “Worrying more about looking cool than doing your job” = Cool Bikes
If he goes to anger management, the guy on the chair is gonna take one look at him and say "OK...This goes far too beyond my training in anger management. So I'll write a referral to rehab and the strongest anti-depressants on the market in the meantime..."
8:23 AAAAAGGGHHHHH!!! You Lazy No Good Slackers Drive Me Nuts! Can't You Just Listen To Me Once In Your Worthless Lives? Cause If You Did You'd See I'm Trying To Teach You Some Simple Responsibility! Some Pride Of Doing A Job Well Done! But You Wouldn't Know A Job Well Done If You Paid Someone To Do It For You! And Even Then You'd Screw It All Up On The Account That You Can't Even Follow The Simplest Of Instructions, Worrying More About Looking Cool Than Doing Your JOB!! ~ Explosive Benson
You know. All that stuff he was yelling about was references to past episodes -Teach you some simple responsibility - House Rules -You wouldn’t know a job well done if you paid someone to do it for you - The Temp -You can’t even follow the simplest of instruction - Just Set Up the Chairs -Worrying more about looking cool then doing your jobs - Cool Bikes
You know the older you get the more you understand benson and his motivations as he is serious and takes pride in his job yet still clenches on to his dreams and aspirations even if they really don't seem feasible anymore.
On one hand, Benson can be a very relatable and likable character in Regular Show, now watching this show as an adult with what he had to go through as a child and with Mordecai and Rigby's daily antics/constant trouble towards him, the Park, and everyone else as well since the duo do cause most of the problems in Regular Show. But on the other hand, with episodes like The Best Burger in the World, A Bunch of Full-Grown Geese, Lunch Break, Firework Run, and Operation: Hear No Evil, Benson did had his moments that made him look like an unlikable character as he does show his hatred towards Mordecai and Rigby because of their daily antics and would even do ANYTHING to fire them.
Regular Show is the most epic , adventure and also comedy in cartoon history. I remember when everytime I on the Television and watched it. Also, I've bought a DVD of Regular Show The Movie for my car to watch while we're going for a trip..
I would love to see you react when your employees literally don't follow anything you say for the past years you hired them then have them throw trash at you
You got to give Benson credit that he didn’t get physical with Rigby there and decided to let out his anger by using the ground or other objects that he could find.
@matthewyates7539 muscles man: high fives and I were training for pie eating contest, until you dweeps came here and started speaking spanish or something "eating the pie" High fives: and then you drank that green stuff
0:06 benson: and let’s have it Rigby: what? Benson: the $40 you two got out of me with that stupid keyboard crap!!!! I know you still got it, now give it back!!!
Cab we talk about a scene where Benson legit takes Rigby and mordecai money/check and rips it up cause they want to play games.... imagine going to work and your boss ripped up your paycheck cause you chose to use 60 on a new game :/ Benson shouldn't be that controlling but he is a leech on others life showing why bosses are 99% hated in all jobs
In fairness to Benson, when employees slack off as much as Mordecai and Rigby, supervisors and managers will be more inclined to be more controlling because the employee/s will be forced to act as they're supposed to regarding the responsibilities of their jobs. It's one thing where the supervisor/manager is a stickler for no good reason and abusing their power. It's a different thing when workers just like to BS and reject accountability. It's like the episode where Mordo and Rigby had to work with Muscle Man and High-Five Ghost and all Muscle Man did was check in with Benson every now and then regarding their work. They slacked off, too, but not as much as Mordo and Rigby.
“I’m sending you to the nursery to pick up another lemon tree, if you screw up again, I’ll have muscle man and HFG supervise the next job, _then the next job, and the next._ *_GET IT????!!!!_*
