Some of them are cringy and probably making him uncomfortable. I guess they forgot that he's a human, not a beautiful doll to admire. He said once that he would like to be seen as a man and that he doesn't like things like being called pretty or compared to a girl.

As the commenter above says, he now seems to embrace his feminine qualities as well when it comes to gender expression. But I 100% agree that some of these moments are extremely uncomfortable and not appropriate! Nobody deserves to be treated like an object.
No, he's not embracing his 'feminine' qualities. That's not it, and the whole concept of feminity and masculinity is dated and ridiculous. He did not mix 'feminine' and 'masculine' dances, he wanted to show that there are no dances for males or females, there are just dances. Prejudices are BS. Just because he's beautiful and has perfect skin doesn't mean he's 'feminine'
Eme Lee he literally said his choreography for “Move” is a combination of feminine and masculine movements. he’s stated in a billboard interview (I think) that there is no bondaries between what a man and woman can wear, do or say. he’s androgynous and there’s nothing wrong with that. this is something he and his fans have known for years.
We all admit how handsome/beautiful he looks,but more than anything else I personally tend to think that besides being an extremely good-looking guy there is something about the way he acts,talks,smiles..he has this positive & innocent aura which attract people more,even though he is an adult now but every time I watch him can't help but feel like I'm watching a cute little baby not a 27years old man(except when he is performing )

I love that Taemin is being praised but a lot of the people were really invasive and inappropriate; touching him without consent, showing pictures he seemed to not know would be there, and constantly objectifying him. I get he's an idol and this stuff happens but it's really uncomfortable and must freak him out a whole bunch. I get really bad vibes from some of the people in this video and I think they should learn to respect him and his boundaries.
I think what you are pointing out about he industry is what pushed Jonghyun over the edge -- he said that he was not meant to be famous, it was not the life for him. To be so objectified and to be the screen for others to project their desires on to is very alienating and lonely. Taemin is a strong person and not as delicate as Jonghyun. I think he can take it in stride in the end. At least this is my hope.
It is not just his physique, his aura itself is attractive. Sometimes I feel like he feels a little bit pressured and he lets them touch him, but he doesn't really like it that much. Which is completely understandable because who likes a stranger starting to touch your back, abs and arms
I know that Taemin is a veteran at what he does, but still because he's quite the introverted person, I feel like many times people with extreme reactions or especially "weird" requests they can make him feel flustered or a bit awkward. Being close to perfection in the eyes of others, doesn't mean you don't have insecurities yourself!
IF he just had his looks he would have very little indeed. It is the person that he is -- with his gifts, intelligence, wit, warmth and artistry that makes him so attractive.
Tbh this video showcases a few moments where people are just creepy and rude to treat him that way... Of course he is beautiful, but that doesn't ever mean people should try to touch him out of the blue. It's honestly uncomfortable and awkward for people to focus THAT much on looks during interviews when there is SO much more to a person than their appearance. It doesn't seem like taemin is always comfortable in all of these situations, especially when people won't stop pointing out his looks or if they touch him out of nowhere (that's so scary to see). Some of these encounters people have had with him are basically harassment, so it makes me uncomfortable to see them lumped in with him getting praised as if they are all examples of good things. :( We can celebrate taemin's poularity, appeal, and undeniable charm without glorifying objectification or harassment.

i just absolutely love his laugh. it's dorky, cute, but like they said it's also somehow pretty and elegant as well. taemin as a whole is a paradox that i'll never quite get.

I can't imagine what it's like for him to have people constantly wanting to touch him. Yes he is very handsome, but he is a person. A very sweet, talented person. I hope the people close to him protect him and allow him the space he needs to be himself.
He has an energy about him that makes you smile like a fool and give you some type of unnatural joy like when you watch a puppy and a baby laughing and playing together. There an innocent, pure, and humble energy to him that no one can resist.

Taemin just attracts people wherever he goes it's been like this ever since he debuted.. it's not only bc he's very beautiful it's also because he is VERY charming.
I don't think she was too bad. It might have been difficult for Taemin to understand and keep up with her even with a translator. She's also from a different country so, on top of not fully understanding her, there's also a difference with culture. Every country has its own personality, people communicate and approach people according to which country they were raised in. The interviews she's had with people from China probably have a better atmosphere.
