Her exact point was proven about the race/colorism thing when ameerah was talking to jasmine. Two lightskin/mixed women trying to down her for acknowledging the fact that racism and colorism is real !
Ameerah isn't lightskinned...which is partly why Taylor admitted to supporting her. She saw a connection between the two of them as "clearly Black" whereas Jazmin, while perhaps Black, may not have the same experiences of obviously Black women.
@@gabeash007 ameerah isn’t lightskinned but she does have eurocentric features. she’s lighter than taylor and in some spaces she may be looked at as light skinned bc of her other features but she is brown that’s why taylor identified with her. the reason she didn’t identify with taylor is because of her hair and a skin type(not color) that’s where featurism and texturism come in. Ameerah identified more with jasmine and nicole because they have similar features and she would be seen as the same as them in comparison to taylor. it’s delusion perpetuated by white supremacy this is something mixed , lightskin, or black women with desirable traits (eurocentric) do to protect themselves from racism they pick at any minor difference to other them selves from being black that’s what we’re witnessing in this house. and why it’s so confusing to nonblack people is because they see them all as black just like taylor did. this something unique to people that are heavily insecure about being perceived as black because they’ve grown up being told they’re different and unique.

As a non-black person, whenever I thought of racism, I thought the systemic aspect of it would be the most difficult to deal with. But damn this season really drove home how fucking vile people can be with their micro-agressions without any provocation and how much of a toll it can take on the person being abused. I'm so disgusted and I'm sure this happens in real life, so this was a just a lesson for me to be more vigilant and stand up for someone going through something like this, especially in the workplace.

Sometimes as a black woman you have to realize you're not actually talking to other black women but rather black appearing women. Ameerah is really a white woman, and Jasmine though a black woman weaponized her appearance when convenient. she displayed that throughout the entire show.

It’s like they treated her like she was not even human and it’s disgusting. @@jazziequeen88 I didn't watch the Live feeds so i may have missed some things. I think Monte tried to defend Taylor to people in a way that it wouldn't be detrimental to his own individual game. The way it was put on tv, Taylor didn't automatically endear herself to everyone in the house(not that she needed to) and she may have come off a bit "cool" with a lot of people and that affected how people responded to her. Admittedly, BW have it hard on BB. Terrance came off as quite disrespectful but i think he would have been like that with just about any woman. Monte, though the side-eye may be correctly given, was just more guarded about how he responded.

These women saw a darker skinned black roman who was beautiful, kind spirited, and confident in herself and they hated it. It hurts to see so many people (including the two black men) talk down on her. But in the end she prevailed and won. Taylor deserved to win based on everything she had to deal with early on in the game in general. Meanwhile, these people wouldn’t have been able to put up with half of the things Taylor endured.

At 3:15 I feel like the topic of Taylor rooting for Ameerah and not mentioning Jasmine might've been more about Taylor feeling "closer" to Ameerah than she did to Jaz, because Jasmine had been mean to her from the start. So maybe that's why Taylor was rooting for Ameerah. It was probably more of a "from one black woman to another I'm supporting you" thing, not an "I don't see Jasmine as a black woman thing". Also, didn't Jasmine tell Taylor she was going to do everything she could to get her out of the house? It makes me so mad that these people who were talking so much shit about Taylor were kissing her ass the night she won!!! I watched and noticed everything as it was happening follow me… First Day in the house the girls were getting close except for Taylor which they didn’t even make an effort to get close to or tell her about the all girls alliance but Taylor were close to the guys and felt more of a connection to the guys. Paloma Noticed How close Taylor was to the guys and how good they were treating Taylor they were laughing and having fun and giving all of the attention to Taylor and Paloma being beautiful and used to all the attention growing up instantly got jealous when she noticed she wasn’t the center of attention. She got the house to turn on Taylor Day 1 when Taylor literally did nothing but have fun and build a connection to the guys. The Girls alliance was in the room talking about taking the guys out and having an all girl final 4 Taylor walked in and heard about the all girls alliance. Taylor showing her loyalty to the guys she went and told Monte that the girls were starting an alliance and are planning to pick the guys off 1 by 1. Monte flipped taylor words and confronted Paloma which Paloma denied calling Taylor a liar and ran around the house in everybody eat telling them that Taylor was lying when Taylor really wasn’t lying THEY WERE REALLY STARTING AN ALL GIRLS ALLIANCE TO TAKE THE GUYS OUT OF THE GAME. somehow Paloma got the whole house to think that Taylor was lying and spreading rumors and got the whole house to hate Taylor Day 1 .
Im sorry but this behavior is something that is very prevalent in wyte American culture.
