This seriously bugged me. I understand character "progression" and "growth" but this is just an utter lack of consistency and is aggravating and irresponsible writing on the writers' part. The other two band members were just completely written off from the show. The story lines of the secondary characters in general in this show are just handled so poorly.

Ashleigh Murray is so freaking cool. They (RAS and writers) tried so hard to make Josie look like a freaking razorblade being extra all the time, and didn't wanna develop Josie's storyline until maybe a little in season 2A right before they sent the other two pussycats away. That's RAS and his crew's fault. The 90% of Riverdale's fanbase is more brainwashed with ships and obnoxious characters than Alice Cooper in the freaking farm. I guess I just find all the characters awfully written and executed but, amongst all, I'd throw Josie the floater.
