She is taking this trial with a good portion of humor. This shines through in little half sentences of her. I like her smile. She is a cutie. She said during the last two days there happened more strange things in this case than this. Someone excused for something and this was her statement. I guess she is happy when she is back to normal again. Normal criminals after this Hollywood spectacle with a crazy wannabe actress.

You know you can form an opinion of people pretty quickly? By the looks of your comment that answer probably doesn’t satisfy you so I’ll give you examples. This judge was perfect for this case. She doesn't care about Hollywood culture or superficial things like hair and makeup. She has an excellent work ethic, and is just here to do her job as well as possible. No theatrics, outbursts, or biased behaviors. She's the type of judge every case deserves to have preside over it.

I'm glad unlike the UK trial, this Judge is catching onto each and every details and have been unbiased throughout. Edit- I am not talking about the UK legal system. I'm sure it is unbiased but my opinion comes from what we have seen from the snippets of the UK trial and how it's outcome was based. For The Sun to be sued for an article, they should've presented a substantial number of evidence which was overweighed to the actual evidences produced by Johnny's team. This is my conclusion. I'm always open to new information.

Remember: the UK trial didn't have access to any of those audio tapes of AH being abusive because she wasn't a party to that case, so she didn't have to hand any of it over as part of the discovery process. If the audio tapes had been part of the UK trial (where the bar for proving libel is a lot lower), there's no way the case would have been decided against Johnny Depp.

Not really. Unfortunately, I first hand know how AH thinks because I think the same way. She is a full blown psychopath. And she can use the internet. She is preparing beyond the court room. She is looking at all our comments. All the edits. All the videos. All the traction. And she is copying it. She is putting up her great act. Unfortunately, she wasn't a good actor to begin with. So... seriously tho, even the way she was smirking or any other change, All are behaviours that people have liked about JD. I think JD was smiling in between as he was baffled by the lies. But she just copied the smirk when he was again on stand. This is mirroring taken to a different level. She will change anything but herself to be liked and get off the hook.

I actually really like this judge, I think some people may perceive this as unprofessional, but honestly she just seems like she's trying to bring some light into the courtroom during a serious situation and giving people of the court a bit of a laugh, which I think is very cool of her. Everyone involved has to deal with this ridiculousness and there's a lot of negativity going on so some humor can go a long way.

Sometimes you could argue jokes are unprofessional. There are definitely times when this wouldnt be as acceptable. However, they were about to wrap up the issue at hand and everyone is relaxed and preparing to leave, take lunch, start the next session of testimony, or whatever was after this. Totally reasonable to add a little levity during lulls to keep everyone jovial. Would be totally different if it was mid testimony in response to an important objection and she was chucking jokes. Shes very professional then. I think if you watch, she generally says something light or playful everyday when they break to kinda keep things playful and break the tension built up during the day. It's endearing.

I agree with you. Despite the seriousness she has to portray as a judge listening to the whole trial and everything taking place, she is humble and cool enough to make a light joke to bring a laugh or smile to those present there. She also deserves credit for all the time she was patiently present there for this long trial and she seems very gentle too because she never really raises her voice and remains very professional and calm when working and talking to both parties there.

It doesn't matter because the jury is the one who decides who's at fault. Judge only gives the final statement and the type of punishment of there's any.

@@AmarmeetMann Judge is on neither side. Judge is judging according to what evidence both parties presented. Judges don't side unless corrupted. If they could afford themselves to side emotionally to stories they would lose themselves very easily and make bad judgement calls and be replaced in a heartbeat. They judge allowing both parties to talk and present what they have to, judge as well as jury records all of it with what was valid and what was discarded then according to laws judges. You can basically say judge is on laws side.

He may or may not be snarky but I do know he is very smart and a wonderful lawyer. Johnny’s entire team is incredibly talented and a joy to watch in the courtroom.

She is a great Judge for so many reasons. My favourite moment from her was her reaction to one of JD's witnesses after he drove off while smoking during his testimony. Her reaction was so authentic it was priceless!!! 😂💖😂😂😂😂

At first I thought this judge was biased but as the trial went on I changed my mind. The patience she had was awesome. Elaine would have gotten On my last nerve.
