In this 2023 Bogota Colombia Vlog, we bring you with us for a full day of exploring the underrated Capital City of Colombia... Bogotá!! Most people skip this absolute gem of a city, which we believe is a HUGE mistake. In just one day, we went shopping at the cutest flea market in Usaquén, did a walking tour of the famous La Candelaria neighborhood, ate world famous Tamales and Ajiaco at one of the oldest restaurants in the world, visited the completely free & magnificent Botero Museum, got an absolutely breathtaking view of Bogotá from the top of Monserrate, and ended the night with an incredible dinner & a show at Andrés Carne De Res.. all in all, it was one of the best days we had during our entire trip to Colombia, and we HIGHLY recommend that you do NOT skip Bogota!!

Colombia has a really special place in my heart, and I am really looking forward to calling Bogotá my new home - sweet home. At first, I just wanted to travel and explore Latin America, and suddenly I'm in the best relationship of my life and my family is waiting for me to come back soon. I heard both good and bad things, and didn't let it stop me from exploring the world for myself. If I had never dared, I would probably never have met the woman at my side. Life is full of surprises if you allow it. Thank you so much for these particularly beautiful impressions from Bogotá. It helps me a little while I'm in my old home. Muchos saludos (aún) desde Alemania. Todo lo mejor para ambos. 🇨🇴🇩🇪

Colombia is a very regionalist country … people from each part of Colombia think that their region or cities are the best. It’s a small regionalist fight specially from Medellin ( but in general all the countrie) vs Bogota DC … it’s a kind of jelous or envy so they always said skip Bogota … but Bogota DC it’s not just the best city in Colombia is one of the political, economic , cultural , education hubs in all latam… it’s one of the global and cosmopolitan cities from latam to all the world The architecture, the people is so diverse… it’s a little bit different about the people think about a tropical country is…. Bogota D.C. is definitely very unique

Bogotá is gritty, has awful traffic and not the best weather, but is also a big cosmopolitan city with all the perks of one. Culture, arts, history, business, shopping. There is always something to do; somewhere to go, a new event, party, congress, exposition, restaurant. You can find just about anything you need or want is awesome. You get the good with bad of course, but I think is unfair how some people judge it exclusively by the bad stuff.
@juanmarcelandrhylan

I'm from Bogotá & I can testify that the City is pretty dangerous, even in the North part, the criminals are just everywhere; they actually love the North since that's where the "money" is !

50% of rich people in Bogotá live in estrato 2 to save on taxes and get benefits. So no, that is not only where the money is.

It’s a shame you had to do a sales pitch for Lingoda as nobody likes advertising but I guess if it helps get you money for the channel

Massive disrespect to the name - you eliminated the accent over the word Bogotá. I lived in Bogotá for 16 months who is "everyone" that warned you not to go ? Quit whining about the cold lol. Good luck with your channel.
