I struggle constantly with feeling like I'm not following Jesus exactly right. Like He's going to reject me because my theology has cracks and I've ingested too many bones of false doctrine. It's like war of mind and heart. Every time I come to a place of peace, that doubt creeps back in and I have to go back to square one: understanding what true and pure love is and understanding that the process of theosis is different for everyone.
I hear you and keep in mind that Satan never sleeps and there shall be war in the flesh. Most all we can do is love each other and try to love our enemies.
Beware of scrupulosity! 🧡 Just love Jesus and you will get it right. When 'wrong', turn away immediately and back to Jesus. That's how. The enemy wants you to beat yourself up over everything.
John 6:37 - Jesus will never cast out those who come to Him. He knows we make mistakes in theology / doctrine. After all He did for us, by GRACE He is not gonna get all technical with us all of a sudden. From grace and - whoooosshh - to scrupulousity? Where is that in The Bible...oh, right, nowhere. In fact, Romans 11: If we continue in...what...having the correct doctrine? NO. If you continue in His KINDNESS, i.e., GRACE. The severity of God is due to what..having the wrong theology? NO, the severity of God is toward UNBELIEVE - rejection of Christ or apostasy (don't be a Buddhist or Muslim or Hindu or atheist or Judaism, etc). Hold fast to The Gospel (1 Corinthians 15) we are saved by Grace, through what Jesus our Savior did, not because of what we have or will accomplish (except for believing - John 6:29).
UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE SOME PRIESTS WHO APPRECIATE SOME CHRISTIANS MORE THAN OTHERS. SO THIS IS SAD AND IT IS NOT OKTHEY ARE HURTING OTHER FAITHFULS WHO STRIVE TO LIVE HONEST LIVES. THIS IS DISCOURAGING
