It was great skating the miniramp with both of you at South Pas today! It was awesome to see Victor do his thing in person. I really respect the Powell team with all of the unique characters and embrace of RU-vid, and Victor is a major part of that.

Victor needs to be added on Powell!! I'm in my 20s and popsicles just aren't fun. He brings so many younger people to pick up shaped powell decks. Ray barbee was my favorite seeing how he flipped the old 80s decks like nothing on flat and now victors bringing it back 🤙

I love those (yet to be released) Powell & Peralta Christopher Hiett stickers, that you've got on those three decks there Deville! I cannot wait until Chris' pro model deck is released. The prototypes look amazing in Chris' videos. I have a set of Thunder 8.75" trucks and a set of 56mm Dragon wheels just sitting here waiting for the CH deck which will be their new home and my new ride. Christopher's deck is going to be especially appealing to older skaters (people with jobs and disposable income) because it's a shaped deck that's wider which is what those of us who learned to skate in the 1980's are used to and prefer. Not only that, but it's going to be the ONLY shaped deck on the market that has the latest advances in skateboard technology. I can tell from seeing it in Christopher's videos that it not only takes advantage of the FLIGHT technology, but it also appears to borrow some concepts from the design advances that have been put into Andy Anderson's pro model decks. Arguably the most technologically advanced skateboard deck designs of the past decade. Words for the wise George Powell - If Christopher prefers a wheelbase of 14.X inches for his style of skating that's great, however, I HIGHLY suggest that Powell & Peralta consider putting a secondary set of front truck holes for a 15 - 16" wheelbase because most of us older SK8 folk with lots of disposable income to spend on 80's inspired shaped decks won't skate a deck that has a shorter wheelbase then 15". I think that if the CH deck has a shorter wheelbase than 15" possible, it will be a great blunder of a business move. I would give Christopher primary front truck holes for his favored wheelbase length and then give customers the option to go for a larger wheelbase, greater than 15" with a secondary set of front truck holes. Not sure what the plans are for the wheelbase length, but the rest of the deck looks incredible. Love the big long fish tail and just enough kick nose to do some modern trickery. Mellow concave is also something that most of us longtime shaped deck skaters prefer. Food for thought. Happy to wait until Christopher is 100% happy with the design and graphics. Hopefully y'all have found an appropriate spirit animal for Christopher's graphic. Indiana is famous for it's fast flying bird - the Peregrine Falcon. Christopher flies pretty high on those kickflip to fakie to tweaked-out-to-the-max he does on transition!

Start asking people whose their favorite skater style and trick wise. Otherwise, they will pick a skater for personal reasons; which won't line up with a stance. I noticed people's favorite skater usually being opposite stanced in the 90's. Certain tricks come naturally to each stance, and certain nuances of style go with each stance. Usually, a person's favorite skater has a different bag of tricks and a different style, so a different stance. It actually has to do with the left and right hemispheres of the brain connecting to and controlling the opposite sides of the body.
