For anyone who wants to check out bulverde they can stay at Eagles Landing Lodge. There's a fabulous restaurant nextdoor called Hatch, Tejas rodeo down the street, which is Super fun!
Johnson Ranch is NOT in Bulverde, but outside the city limits, which skirts Bulverde's minimum one acre lot size. Real Bulverde is rural acreage and ranch land. The Bexar County commuter traffic here has become unbearable and is destroying the Hill Country because subdivision developers come in to build just outside the city limits and clear cut every tree in sight.
