Thanks for the videos I have an idea for a video regarding mcors. Iv ordered 2 and I think they are bad, but I’m not sure. The ohms on one is 6.3-1.4K. The other was 6.6-.2k. From what I have heard if it reads over 6 your cart won’t work. A video of you testing/ troubleshooting the mcors would be nice. Thanks again!

I have a 2010 club cart precedent that has a tps sensor instead of a mcor. I have pedal group 2 and i guess they only had the throttle position sensors for a short time. I would like to see a video on how to convert it to a mcor or directions on how to convert it. Thanks

And they charge upwards of $300.00 for an MCOR and all this is inside is a micro switch and a pot. Approximately $6.00 worth of parts.

Very helpful video. We need to replace the MCOR and ordered the replacement part. Unfortunately the hole that receives the shaft is too small, very tight, impossible to put in place properly, what would you suggest to make it fit. Thanks in advance for your answer

I just watched your MCOR (differences) video and I have a 2009 Club Car Precedent with Pedal Group 2 (Excel model Serial begins with PH) that has the original TPS in it (no Mcor). Your video says contact you for more info on how to convert this to a MCOR setup. Can you tell me exactly what parts I will need to convert? A little confusing. Not sure if I need the MCOR 4 (seems I could use a 2) and the 2 plug adapter plus the funny looking small black adapter with 2 plugs on one end and wires soldered into the other end? Or can I omit the (2 plug each end adapter) and just use the funny looking black box adapter??). Thanks in advance for any help. Happy to provide email address if you are able to send me a set of instructions. I do have both a parts catalog and a 2009-2011 Precedent service manual that refer to a conversion kit and shows a photo of just that funny black box thing with 2 plugs one end and wires soldered into the other. Makes no mention of the 4 plug adapter. Thanks again.

Wayne, are pedal groups 1 and 2 interchangeable? I have group 1 and I need to replace it and having no luck finding one. I’m hoping I can drop in the 2 and everything merry up. Also, thanks for taking the time to make this video. It was extremely informative.

I have a 64v Stealth 4x4 cart that uses the MCOR type 1. The cart goes fine until I push the throttle to 1/2-3/4 and then it cuts out. I can go from 1/2-3/4 to the floor and it will not go. I took the MCOR apart and replaced the switch but it stills does the same thing. The original switch was a WK1-1 micro switch that is rated at 10A 125VAC. I replaced it with a 11-304 micro switch rated 10A 125VAC which I saw on a cart forum that someone had done. I still have the same issue. I would like to do the conversion to the MCOR type 4 and was wondering if you know if it will work from the perspective of this being a 64v cart?

Wayne, I just bought a 2004 DS. It has a Plum Quick Bandit motor. It had been garaged (undriven) according to the seller for a few years. It has a 'hesitation' when you first step on the pedal. When I took it to my golf cart shop to look at the brakes, I asked about the hesitation. He said that it's either the MCOR starting to go, OR because the cart hadn't been driven for so long, the hesitation may work it's way out with more use. Your video mentions the DS models in the 2005 1/2 - 2012 years, and say to go with the conversion kit. Does this also go for my earlier year (2004) model? And does the Plum Quick motor have any bearing on which MCOR I use? Last thing - I see that the DS model (as opposed to the Precedent) install of the MCOR (or conversion kit) is easier done from underneath with just a couple of screws holding it on. Do you have a video of the DS replacement/mounting? Oh, last LAST thing - I couldn't find the conversion kit on the Ebay link that you listed. Suggestions as to where to buy the OEM conversion kit (if this is what you think I need for that 2004 model)? Thank you.

Wayne, this is a great video, very helpful. I have a 2012 DS and need to replace the Mcor. How do I know if I am purchasing an OEM conversion kit AM293101 or an aftermarket one? Strictly the price? I can search the part number online and find it from $84 to $220? They all look the same.

I've noticed the gap in years for DS between 01-05 , were these things like honorary Fords and came with a mix of parts depending on the one you got? 🤣 I have an 03 DS (Villager) that I think came with an MCOR , unless someone converted before me converted it, which is highly unlikely based on where I got it.

Man I love your stuff. I'm working on my Mother-in-laws cart. It's a QP0399 and looks like an MCOR-1 underneath and is 36 Volt. Is there even an option for that? Thanks for any help

Hi, Good afternoon I am having a problem with my club car golf cart I will be driving it and it goes fine then all of a sudden it seems to lack power slows down a bit then starts back running fine again even feels like it is jerking a little. Sometimes there are no problems and then it will start acting back up again could this be the MCOR

My 2004 club car precedent goes only about 3 mph uphill and goes normal speed on level surfaces and downhill.. Un tilt this morning when I heard a 'click' and then it would only go barely 1 mph until it hot to a down surface. Is the encore causing this?

How do you test one of them to know if it's bad

Wayne I have A9843-708040 club car. The other day it just quit on hole 5 had been working great all summer. When the foot feed is pressed you can hear the motor rocking but no movement. After watching your video I’m wondering if it could be my vdrive and should I replace with conversion kit? I have tested the batteries and have 48.1 volts across the 6 batteries. Thanks from Canada.

Hi Wayne, I replaced the OEM MCOR2 in a 2007 Club Car Precedent because the cart would stop while driving and need to let off and step back on the accelerator pedal, I was hoping that the new MCOR would correct it, but it's still doing it. I'm kind of disappointed, I paid the money for the Mexico made part and shunning the Chinese part. What should I do now?

You should make a video of converting the pre macor to mcor 4 on a club cart that something that is not on youtube if you want idea to get people to view.that could be 4 or 5 part video prolly..i am about to do mine i am building a custom cart from the frame up.i have got everything looking like i will have like 3500 in it still a lot cheaper than a new one an this will be brand new all new parts an lithium battery pack.Im building a beast 36v just to see what it will do.Hijacker 36v 18.5 hp motor an 700 amp controller with the sw202 f@r system with rocker switch on dash in club cart ds.going to be a little BEAST.i might even change the gears in the axle i seen one gives it 50% more speed wow

Morning Wayne you helped me get my part cause I have the red headed stepchild, I put it on and can only go halfway with the with the go pedal if I go any further it stops running. Is there an adjustment I have to do to make the pedal work All the way down?

Is there a way to test an MCOR 4 with conversion kit? My 04 Club DS (48v) had about a 5 second hesitation when you stepped on the pedal before it would move, once it was going it ran fine. Now the cart won't move at all. All batteries are new and the solenoid clicks fine. I thought it might be the MCOR 1 that went bad, but after examining the part it looks like it has already been replaced with the 4.

Wayne. Have a ingersol rand club car j0024 - 897305. Trying to find an mcor .on Minnie the shaft goes right through ,I have a mcor 4 I purchased but I don't see any plugs exposed and it has a micro switch on the one on my unit , can I just cut the wires and connect to the mcor4. Not sure

Im ticked at the club car people. I recently bought a 2018 cart. Was looking at motor, it was from china,the rear end was made in India. I guess the guy bought a refurbished cart the dealer bought from a golf course. The dealer used crap in the refurbishment. I assumed they were made in America. I guess this dealer used the cheapest parts he could find. I did not even consider Chinese replacement motors. Im going to sell it. People here buy Chinese carts for over Tenthousand New. Well, they are selling them soon after they buy them at a big loss . They break and have no parts available for a year if at all. My last cart was a 2012 yahama. They programed it to 29 mph,and at times, i hit 30 . This club car with new tires i got to a steady 20mph,and i guess its a myth there is speed code 5 out there because one dealer wanted 3800 to get any faster. Sometimes, i use my cart for light duty work,and carts are legal to drive on streets. I am not a speed nut and rarely maxed out. But into a headwind or up hills, the club car is plain slow. I donated my other cart to a zoo because of the rough ride after 12 years of hard use. 10 years ago, there was a shop selling refurbished carts. Everyone they sold would do at least 27 mph,so now it is big money and chinese, junk parts.
