They should not be dragging the rotor through the stator in this manner. The paint damage will result in chips inside the gap, which is only about 1-to-2-mm. In later use, the remnant paint will start peeling, from the aerodynamic forces, and will cause more and more damage. This results in fast motor failure, not as intended, and possibly a scam job, similar to the car-engine rebuilds.

The alignment process of centering the shaft is totally bogus.... it presuposses that the paint job on the armature and stator are uniform within what ever thickness the shim that they are using is.Otherwise fun to watch, love the precise dusting done, at least they are using quality bearings.
