I love being a “middle lane” drinker. Don’t touch it through the week and have 3-4 pints Friday/sat/Sunday nights with a glass of wine and some nice food. I work for my weekends and that first beer at 6pm on Friday night is absolute bliss. Why would I take this out of my life? These guys ain’t selling this “life” to me

If your happy in the middle lane with drink and life that's fine. Once you've experienced no booze for a 6m period you wouldn't settle for average middle lane. I was like you. Enjoyed the booze but enjoy getting out of that crap now. I'm 62 and feel like 40. And that's not drinking, like you only a few days a time. If your younger you generally can handle it but get ahead of the game and stop

Awesome interview.what an endorsement of alcohol free life.i live in Australia now but before moving here I spent a good almost decade in London listening to Chris Evans on the radio, his shows. Successful guy; but big reputation as a party guy! I am just so so happy to hear he’s on team alcohol free.👏👏🎉

Just listened to this. The guy at the end describes having a glass of wine or champagne at a wedding. Then says, "usually" ok to drive !! And has a "healthy attitude" to alcohol. That's how big the problem here is. Alcohol levels and driving should be 0. I would never have thought that until I went alcohol free myself. This message will take at least a decade to become mainstream because of the money involved in the industry and Tax for the Government.

Your in the minority is you do that. Most have more. Well done to you. Do you think your friends would look at you differently if at wedding you had a soft drink or a coffee??? If they do are they really friends. Just a thought not criticism
