What a job. I had a job that involved very expensive toys and traveling 150-200 days a year too. The thing I miss the most is the camaraderie. You become almost like a tribe and everyone not in your immediate group is some strange foreigner- even in your own country. It was tough being gone a lot but I miss the crazy stuff that went on on the road.

Wow, I couldn’t imagine managing and making sure everything is up to top performance. Watching races, most often we think of the drivers and how good they are but damn can we get a slow hand clap to the people who actually keep this sport alive. The people who put all this and the car together(21, next year 22 times a year), you never realize how much time and effort goes into the performance of these cars but damn im impressed.

Man . . . those trucks turned offices / mechanics rooms are impressive. Show us some footage of the convoy!!

I'm from Dublin Ireland and I've been a Fan of F1 since the late 80s I whould love to see a race live to see the car's race up close. Keep doing more video's like this because it let's us fan's see what behind the curtain.

It's actually good to see this...We all tend to idolise the drivers,but they wouldnt even b able to start their cars let alone race with all these people involved.Massive job getting a team to a Grand Prix.Hats off to all of you guys that make F1 good for us fans.

My dad would never be able to keep it that clean and organised! Our trailer for go kart got is all chucked in boxes lol!

Mercedes is the most up to form and the best at explaining things.

It absolutely amazes me the amount of man power and effort it takes to build these semi permanent structures for each race, which is fine when races are two weeks apart, but when the races are on the following weekend, hats of to the crew and drivers.

ever wonder where the $400+ million a year goes? Well this is a big part of it. Very impressive.

Insane and great, and I love how Mercedes is giving insight as to what happens behind the scenes, unlike other teams, like Ferrari who seem to be way too secretive about everything, but then I guess that’s the difference between the 2 brands in general, Mercedes does cars for everyone, Ferrari has only ever been for rich people

For a (basically) one-of-a-kind prototype racecar, it's incredible that 16 people can build it in 14 hours. I'd love to see what sort of work the engineers do during development to, in essence, do their "Design for Assembly" work - because that's gotta be something they think about. And if Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport tells me any secrets, I can keep them to myself ;) Wonderful video, please do make more like this - I love it!
