Looks so good, guys. Have you considered getting a custom SLIDING glass shower door designed specifically for your space? For a brief period I used to install shower screens, and I saw some unique designs ideas that worked and looked great in some pretty odd bathrooms, all you guys have to work around is a confined space and a window. It would be expensive because imo you would need to go floor to ceiling semi frameless toughened glass panels, but then your sliding door tracks will be on the floor and ceiling, and the fixed glass side panels won't have ugly frames on either side of the glass. It would look really sleek imo, solve the space issue, and be Way better than an ugly (they always look way worse than you think) shower curtain that will always suck into the shower space and stick to your body. I can put up with them being ugly, but there is nothing worse than losing half your space to a curtain that just wants to hug you... they are so needy lmao

I started watching in October 2020 while cleaning up garage …have not missed a week since. Great to learn with you and to see kids and dogs all become a part of the evolution

I remember this days with my boys of "catch me daddy!". And the laughter as you get close to them and swing them off their feet and into the air. Never gets old.

I am currently renovating my home and my father is a professional builder so we are doing all ourselfs, new wall to create two of one room, kitchen, bathroom, adding one more room from the outside and so on... I am following you two from day one, and I have learned so much, thus I am proud to say, that I know as much as my father, and we enjoy building together. Funny, I came here looking at shipping container homes and wound up watching every single episode usually the day it was posted. Lol, I feel like family. I believe y'all have done an amazing job and I really enjoyed it I wish you guys the absolute best going down the road of life.

Note: When purging air from any new water line setup, always remove the faucet and shower heads to prevent them from clogging up prematurely as there's always some trash in the lines.

From someone who also built a nice subway tiled shower, do yourselves a favor and have a custom glass front/door cut. Easier to clean, looks amazing, shows off that great tile work, and you won’t have a shower curtain sticking to you.

I've watched you guys from pretty much the beginning...I wanted to tell you guys how proud I am of what you've accomplished and that you've done it without advertising on the channel and while it's not necessarily a bad thing I understand that's how a lot of RU-vidrs get their needed supplies and things to live the life they want to live, however you've shown people that with hard work and a dream you can do it yes I know you have patreon and supporters that that's good because you're helping a lot of people by showing them how just two people can build a dream (sort of a master class). I love watching people get their houses and homes I never owned a home of my own in my lifetime so I think that's why I love watching it happen for other people so wanted to let you know how proud I am of you both and what a legacy you are giving your children... not only the home but the videos to watch of how their parents built a dream ❤️ 🏠

Looks great! As you wrap up the interior, the list grows for other projects. I'd still be considering options for heat as our winters continue to evolve. Not sure if pellets are option there to reduce necessity of cutting tons of wood waiting to dry out. If power failure occurred, you will need option to avoid draining generator to keep pipes from freezing and cooking of course. Spring/summer great time to research and setup. Take care

Shower curtain - Get a giant sheet of water-resistant material and fold it over at the top and the bottom, then gle or sew it depending on what material you select. Make sure the top fold is large enough to fit grommets that are large enough to accept the curtain rod. I wish I could explain it better, it seems really simple in my head, lol. The place looks awesome, you guys are awesome. Keep up the good work.

Would suggest a "low-flow" valve on the showerhead, so while you're soaping up, there's just a trickle - enough to keep the temp the same as when you started....works GREAT!!

Kenz, I’ve been watching and waiting for four years for you to be able to have a safe, indoor shower! So close now, so close…..🙏

We have the same high sierra low flow shower head, but we got the one with the shut off valve so you can turn off the water at the shower head to just a trickle when you soap up, etc. We also need to conserve water and that has made a huge difference in our water usage. Great job on the bathroom!
