I love how genji can deflect basically anything but a levitating rock even in the trailer man’s deflected what seemed to be two giant plasma rounds going at insane speed but a jedi throwing a rock at you… NO NO DEFLECT
@@nikolaiorr8383 Ehh. Block? Not really, he just ducked under it, his blade barely scratched the bell so it's very possible that he didn't change the trajectory of the bell in any way, as the bell was bouncing anyway.
Is there like a limit to how many things genji can deflect at a time? Like when so much damage is being sent to u and u deflect it back is there a cap to how much u can deflect? This question came into my mind the exact moment i finished watching the vid 😂

@@froggychair7732Lamp is basically a Pet, not a projectile. It would be like Deflecting a Riptire or a Dva Nuke. Bob is an advanced psudopet that functions like a player. He can contest points, get healed, nano'd and even waves back to the Ashe that Summons him when she waves at him. Apparently you can Deflect a Dva Re-Mek and kill the Baby Dva with it. Which is probably the most crazy Uno Reverse Deflect if true.
The new grenade tosses are so strange though tbh I'm kinda glad mcree has it because that stun move is too easy to use for a guarantee kill for any dps or support. Ana actually has to aim her stun gun for a reward while mcree just needs to toss it around.
Aka, genji can deflect hitscan and projectile bullets (no beam). Hitscan and projectile abilties, deflect blocks melee damage (except javelin spin). Deflect doesn't block hard cc like doomfist punch, rein charge or sigma rock. Edit: It also can't deflect damage that "travels through ground" like rein shatter (you can dodge this with good double jump timing), doomfist ult, orisa ult,

Not sure if you still can or not, but I remember back in the day you could deflect 76’s biotic field…you’d have to be practically standing RIGHT in front of him though

I just had my first real cool plays today, we were about to finish pushing the payload, but the hog came from the right and killed 3 of us, and I dashed in and deflected right at the end, also nano blade is still great👍
Perhaps the reason why Genji can't reflect the rock is because it's held together by Sigma's gravity powers so it's not just a rock as it's being pushed through sigs powers so when it hits Genji it's either he ain't strong enough to deflect or the gravity powers get transferred to him Genji and pushes him down. Would somewhat explain how he's not able to deflect the sigma but he is zaryad ult(also maybe cos the black hole at first is like held together in a capsule thingy and it breaks when it hits the floor explaining why Genji can knock it back)
I dont get why Genji cant stop Zarya's laser beam as if his blade was a shield. We've seen what that blade can deflect, black holes, giant hammers, fire, explosives, why not a plasma beam?
A beam is a theoretically infinite source of damage as the particles are so dense that there is an absence of gases to leave a window between one damage particle and another. Gengis deflect is quick, but he still has to move his sword, making it impossible to be infinite.
I was a poor Mercy healing a Reinhardt (my boyfriend was playing as him, and I was healing him) and then he fired strike a Genji, who deflect it and it hits me, I freaking died instead of Reinhardt, man I was so pissed cuz I didn't see it coming lol
Im a brig main, and whenever i see a genji try to deflect my meelee attacks im like: “bro you cant parry meelee!” And then i realise that thats the only thing you CAN parry irl.
you were standing too close to the concussion when it you reflected and hit pharra, you dont get concused if you arent that close to it. also i feel like you should try things at different angles like the soldier heal station, you can deflect if you hugging soldier. also the immotality field you shoulda tried that alot more times at different angles not just once. good vid tho
genji can deflect bullets and projectiles but not lazer type such as zarya primary fire so from this you can really understand what you can deflect and what you can't deflect but moira can't be deflected since moira all ability isn't a bullet or projectile
It. Cannot. Be. Deflected. Firstly the time it could was a bug that got hot patched and ever since, Genji cannot interact with it because it is not a 'projectile' but an 'object' like the turrets in game.
