I don’t think we talk enough about the sound design of Dad’s videos. The ambient music is subtle but it manages to perfectly convey the tone and even the settings in each one. Great going, Dad!

I'm absolutely convinced that everything is fine.

From what I can tell there are 3 versions of Nathan in all of this, Nathan himself, Dadbot, and Andan. Andan we know comes from Kepler 22b, we have seen flashbacks of his life there. They went on a space mission, presumably to CFBDSIR 2149-0403 a rouge planet. Something went wrong, we see in an episode of act 2 CFB 2149 in our solar system, near earth, with Andan and Emily crash landed here. We also need to remember the scene back in Act 1 I think? Where the entire system resets and we see Dad on a futuristic cyberpunk world. Now this is just my little thought, and I could be wrong, it's late when I'm writing this, but I believe Dadbot came from CFB 2149. My reason behind this, in that shot we see Dad turn around slowly and look blankly at the camera, something dadbot does regularly. Also his obsession with futuristic cities, as seen in his Infinity City build in Mincraft, from what we have seen of Kepler and Andan's life, it doesn't look anything like the city we see in this flashback. I could be completely wrong, but that's what I've been able to pull together a bit.

Potential timeline that i'd like to share: (circa. 2005) Cheryl and Malvin have a daughter. (circa. 2016) Daughter has somehow died , Cheryl is devastated. (2017) Cheryl has kidnapped Andan to play the role of Dad. (2019) Cheryl has made a robot to play the role of her deceased daughter. The reasoning is unknown. love u dad
