Everything is getting stuck! Well, not everything but our semi and Randy's cart sure did. The conditions are anything less than ideal with more rain on the way.. The J&M cart is handling the conditions like a boss and we love the Crary Wind System. The Thunder Creek Fuel trailer sure saves us time and we can especially appreciate it when running this far behind.

Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

not a farmer, but i like to actually see for myself how food is produced and don't solely rely on portrayals by media and/or ngo's (global issue these days). this channel in particular is somewhat funny and entertaining. so instead of just looking out the window waiting for time to go by i figure i might as well watch some Millenial Farmer ...

I'm definitely not a farmer, but I am a millennial and I grew up on a farm in Michigan. 1500 acres of corn, dry beans, and sugar beets. Your operation is very similar in a lot of ways. Reminds me of the farm work I did with my dad and uncle. Cool to see the new machines. Harvest has an exciting energy.

Not a farmer, but both sides of my family were. As a kid, age 8 to about 18, work on farms. All sold now, but the equipent I used was a little different. I drove an Allis Chalmers tractor to plow, and my grand father had 2 corn pickers. My left hand and my right hand, I picked corn and threw on a trailer. I love seeing the new equipment, auto steer etc. Keep up the good work, God Bless America

I'm not a farmer, but I work on farms most of my life. I'm 73 years old. I worked on a dairy farm while I was going to high school, we milked about 85 to 125 cows a day. Then I went to work on a small farm over west of Pairs, Ill. It was only 3600 acers. The owner had an air plain accident in which he lost his life. I live in Plainfield, Indiana, it is just west of Indianapolis I saw your show on RU-vid and just got into watching it. It bring back the good old times. Please keep making the show.

Your channel is funny, informative, and takes me back. Really like the way your using social media to be an influencer for good, and helping your fellow farmers explore options with the advances in technology, by getting the big ag manufacturers to send you equipment to demo. Been a great comedic, nostalgic, and informative relief for me during these crazy times.

I think it's a great way for you folks to learn off of each other and make American farmers more productive. America feeds the world and the world is getting populated at a prodigious rate. Meeting up at farm shows and state fairs is nice, but the flow of ideas and "Ah-ha!" moments on the internet brings changes and knowledge in the NOW instead of the, too late for this season, category.

Haven't been in a combine in awhile, but that yawn you made on camera reminded me how fun they are to operate after the second hour of harvest, until you almost get stuck, then things get real, in a hurry. I like watching till the end, cuz I don't think people understand how long our days really are. I love that you inform everyone what time it is when you finish, when you go out to check the drier, what time it is when you get outside to greet the big bulb in the sky. Glad to see I am not the only one that has had to work those kind of hours to get the job done. Don't ya love climbing the bin at two in the morning to see if you can fit the last drier cycle in? I wish we had that size wet-bin when I harvested, that would have made corn harvest go so much faster.
@johomerza
@johomerza 4 года назад
@@ivyandroses4373 sounds like you could have maximized your population a little more. Were the ears large, like 24oz pounder size, or were they Coors light 12oz size. Any good farmer knows you compare size to a beer can!! That's taught in Farming 101 class.

I am not a farmer. Why Im I watching you.1- I love your sense of humor.2- I was told to come see you be the Larsons. 3-I love to see you face and deal with problems. 4-Did I tell you I love your sense of humor. 5- I have dealt with a large farm community for 27 years, I am a retired Lt. Paramedic, dealt with many, many farm accidents, grain bin rescues, arms & legs in small augers, and some pretty large ones, PTO entanglements, roll-overs, combines vs train, combine fires, tractor fires, stubble and crop fires. I can tell you this from what I have witnessed. The Farming community is a family that I have had the chance to admire from a distance and many, many times close up. You may not see it, but you are all knitted tight together. Wether from across the field, across the county, or from across this great country. You all are highly knitted. Seams to me you are in a brotherhood. Like me in my field of service that I once was apart of, retired now 9 years. I love (like my field) to see a child relish in a fathers teachings and passing on what he knows (farming, crops, weather, land conditions) to you, who are so willing and wanting to learn, what he has given his life doing, this also applies to his and your wives and children. Because of the effort, work, learning and a life time of seeing and passing on, down falls, hard times. I so admire what you do, what your dad does, what you, are teaching your children, admirable. 6-Have I mentioned, Love your sense of humor? 7- In every thing you do, no matter the situation, you solve the problem and move forward. In what I used to do, we do the same thing, under slightly different situations. I am proud to have served my community. I have the same pride in what you do for yours.

Not a farmer, my great great grandfather was one in Ireland . I actually have a photo of him in front of a house with a thatched roof with rock walls . The interest stems from a visit to a friends farm in Wapakoneta, Ohio and in the sheds were about a half dozen green combines and heads. I spent several hours looking at everything on the property . It was a dairy farm at one time and collection building was all white tiles super clean. I just loved the visit

Not a farmer. Started playing Farming Simulator 19 in may, Learned about your map with RU-vid Mod reviewers, learned you were a real farmer from Reddit comments and sarted to watch your videos while playing FS19 on Playstation. Now I can't stop watching your videos. You're doing an amazing job on explaining things to non-farmer viewers. Thanks !

I'm an controls engineer (power plants), and I live in a big city. I just like to watch stuff about what other people do. RU-vid is a good place to find all kinds of people who have very interesting skills and crafts. and they will share their time to record it all. I've found macheists, woodworkers,pipefitters,tile setters, tree planters, and a whole lot more. Your video's are well done. Thank you

I grew up farming and worked a farm growing and harvesting potatoes, corn and grains. I joined the military at 24 and never really went back to it, served 20 years. I saw one of your videos last week and I’ve been hooked since. Partly it brings back memories, partly it’s just very interesting. I’d love to go back to the farm after 28 or so years away, will see. You also really remind me of my Son. It’s COVID season now so I’ll be watching all of your videos now. Thanks for all you and your family do as farmers, love it!

Not a farmer, but I read an article a while back claiming you make more money as the millennial farmer with social media then you do from actually farming. So I watched a video, and got hooked. Grew up near a small farming town in Washington but never was around it enough to know anyone in the industry. Thanks for all you do!
