The emotions are so many and confusing: each one reacts to mourning in a different way. Unbelieving looks, stunned brains and confused words are exchanged at the premises that replace our home this time of year. We were questioning what was going on and what our role was.
We never believed, not even for a moment, that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Those who did not have to be there or anywhere else are the criminals who have barbarously killed innocent people - we are talking about the mafia. The same mafia who is flaying and ruining our hills, which is polluting our lands, the mafia that terrorizes and cut off our merchants, who shoots and kills in full day, scrupulously, in crowded places.
Mafia is the one who intimidates, who does not pay the taxes, who speeds up when you're crossing the pedestrian strips; Mafia is the one who uses the intellectual poverty that our society is producing in recent times, making it its main weapon, "breeding" boys who aspire to the boss model, beautiful life at all costs, intimidation as the only comparison tool verbal.
Our young people, on the other hand, are unconscious crates full of beauty. The role of our community is to take them by the hand and make them aware of their potentialities. There is a need for someone who speaks their language, knowing how to involve them in the production and use of art, and to make them realize that immobility is not a solution but the cause of the evil around us.
We have been active for thirty years. Every day, every day, we open our spaces to anyone who wants to feel part of a group that works to give St. Mark something concrete and tangible on which to build the future of our community.
This event has, for ten years now, been a major part of our community that is actively engaged and working for the growth of St. Mark's. In fact, we believe that this type of event should take place more often, so as to fill a void easily filled by mafia proselytizing.
Now we are trying to change our face to cfncff: despite the timing and the mid-morning we will not stop for a moment. We will adapt the event to the need for legality that this country calls for and has the right to obtain. From here a resurgence could begin for our entire territory, along with the associations that are subscribing to this press release.
There is a need for cultural spaces in which to feel at home, in which to feel the protagonists of something beautiful, something that grows us and who is around us, isolates the solitude and marginalization that too often small countries passively pass .
Silence to us is fearful: it is fertile ground that feeds the terror, whispering things not to say, which orders us to turn to the other side.
Silence would mean admit that the mafia in San Marco is stronger than the desire to live, to participate.
We can not handle all this, neither today nor tomorrow. You have to scream, smile and live in the beard of crime.
We ask all of you to understand our motivations and to support us constructively and not defeatistly.
Let's move ourselves from communities and stop tackling the problem without first praising the success.
