Not necessarily ... however God is in charge of All Things, therefore God does allow for suffering. There is a much deeper rooted answer here than this, but too much for a comment thread. I have learned many things through my personal experiences as I have grown in my relationship with God. One thing I have learned is that many times suffering is allowed to bring us closer in relationship to The One God who Loves All Children In The Kingdom. Perhaps you could do a search for "10 Biblical Reasons God Allows Suffering", which may provide some insight.

To Robert, my favorite part of the day is when my steel toes come off. Been wearing boots all my working life. 23 years in the USAF and then working as a aircraft mechanic, I'm 58 now. When I'm doing my paperwork at the desk I slip them off.

Pto jump rope. Truck manufacturers keep drive shaft sections under 6ft and use carrier bearings to avoid jump rope rotation from happening.

With the auger PTO shaft, shut off the tank first and allow the auger to empty. Then throttle up. The little PTO shaft didn't have enough torque capacity for the power change under load.

Does the Minn Moline have set brakes on it, prevent movement. But the DL whip may have been enough to slide the tires through the gravel. Get some tire blocks on chains, accident waiting to happen. 10 seconds of block setting may save weeks in hospital and all those pretty Montana surgical nurses. I hate long PTO shafts, so much maintenance and so much danger especially with new employees. Got hydraulic pump on PTO of MM and hydraulic motor on the auger. Love watching your high speed BUD spraying. Need at least 1 dose of spray vid. each year.

As a farm equipment mechanic I know the feeling....for safety and reliability I would install hydraulic motors on the augers. No more PTO shafts.

In the 70s I had 40.000 square acres under plow. I grew every grain. There were bread shortages back then. I learned to hire someone to take charge so I could yell at them. Haha. Then I patented grain SILOS with gas heat blowers to keep the grain clean and no molds. My group built SILOS on both sides of the Mississippi river. We promised every farmer we would Buy all the grains they harvested. I took it one step more. For 3 years, from 72 too 75. I designed and founded the first food stock market to feed the world. The commidey exchange in 1975 I was the one who FLIPED the switch on. Buying short long . Long long. Investing in crops before harvest. Promised all farmers could make money. So boys, go fix what you broke. ... my farms world WIDE feed the world. My 5.000.000 square miles of every fruit tree on earth. 1975 . Donated the BILLIONS of gallons of orange juice world wide to stop scurvy in all third world countrys...

Chock the wheels on the tractor, that might help prevent the physics that happened.

Chocks or wheel brakes would just delay the disaster. Once it starts to bend, it can only get worse.

"Slight wobble"? Last week when watching the video I thought that that PTO was asking to fail and needed some form of "steady" (or two) to alleviate the wobble. Glad no one was hurt.

Thank God no one was hurt, the pickup can be replaced. But that is what I miss about living in a rural community, when bad things happen in rural communities everyone shows up to help and lend support. In the city most people don't even know the name of the people living next door.

I was thinking last video that that PTO shaft looked dangerous. It was flopping quite a bit in that one. I thought if that ever broke, it could be deadly. Now I wish I'd said something. :) I'm glad you didn't get hurt.
