Everything NEW at Alton Towers in 2024!! 

I'd actually love to see Air return and for it to be properly themed how it was meant to, complete with load more rockwork, waterfalls and trees. It was meant to be the peaceful oasis at the bottom of the valley.

It'll be interesting to see what Alton Towers does to compete with Universal GB, if it does get made!

I messaged AT regarding the height change on the runaway mine train because my 3 year old went on it last year (she was bang on 90cm lol) and she absolutely loved it , so much so we have booked AT this year for her 4th birthday and splash landings hotel then I noticed the height change and messaged them instantly and this what they replied ….. We continually review our ride operations and procedures and follow strict guidelines and best practice set by the equipment manufacturers and industry associations. We also regularly review guest feedback and at times exceed this guidance to ensure our rides are as safe and comfortable as possible. There are a small number of rides that have additional requirements to ensure guest safety, which remains our top priority. The recent change in height restriction for the Runaway Mine Train now aligns to the height requirements of other similar attractions at the theme park.

Did you see water flicking off the Nemesis train as it entered the vertical loop? I was intrigued wondering if they were adding some kind of water interaction, but now I suspect it's just one of the dummies springing a leak.

If Alton towers did bring back ripsaw, it just goes to show there lack of innovation. ‘Let’s reopen two rides that we already had before’ so I can’t see that happening, it can’t be high up, so something ground based hmmmm
