Very much appreciate you guys spending all day going to the four parks giving us a on the ground look of what's to come! This D23 was definitely one of the better ones in terms of announcements. I liked everything I heard but it's a little hard to wrap my mind around losing the Rivers of America. It's shocking to hear but on the other hand, it's not. The villains land was probably the best announcement for me and the most surprising was Cars land! As long as Disney doesn't have any budget cuts, I'm looking forward to the future of the parks! Thank you again Jackie and Sam for everything and I'm glad to hear that Sam had a great birthday!

I really wish they would put Cars and Villains "beyond Big Thunder" My son LOVES Frontierland. We are actually taking a trip in about a week to do everything Frontierland because I knew this was coming. There is enough land to leave the beloved Rivers of America alone! My son will be devastated that he can't ride the Liberty Belle anymore 😢

Oh I really hope they put Monsters Inc in Animation Courtyard, that space needs something AND I think the front of the building shown in the artwork resembles what is already there. Plus, Muppets 3D is one of the FEW filler attractions in that park that soooo needs rides for people to be able to walk on between lightning lanes.

For the Villains Land! If they did Hades in the Underworld it could be both in and out of the water, that was be AMAZING!!

I wish they would have put Cars land behind Big Thunder and Villains land behind Haunted Mansion. Tom Sawyers Island is pretty peaceful,, but a big piece of real estate.

Don't take away Tom Sawyers Island! Even if kids today don't know Tom Sawyer, that's such a great place to let kids just play around, explore, let loose, get away from crowds for a bit. I wish the Cars area can go "beyond" Big Thunder as well.

Great job guys! Very unique video on the changes. IMO Disney is selling a part of their soul for the latest and greatest thrill all in the name of profit. There’s a reason why so many Disney fans call the MK home. No matter what life throws at us; moving from our own home, the friends we’ve made, the people we’ve lost, getting married, having kids, one of the few constants is the MK. Like a home things change. There are additions, remodels, repaints but the bones of the home are still there. It feels like home. This change is a totally unnecessary change that attacks that very idea of comfort and security. One of the very few places of peace and serenity is being bulldozed for further monetization at the cheapest price possible. There’s absolutely zero reason they need to build it there. They could easily build Carsland beyond thunder mountain where it would be welcome with open arms. It would actually increase capacity instead of just monetizing it. It’s very unfortunate that the Disney company had decided to cash in on decades of good faith they’ve developed with their fans. It’s a sad day indeed.

Your word: UNTHINKABLE! SO shortsighted losing the trifecta of Rivers; Liberty, and Tom. all of which scream WALT! And the rivers and steamboat theme are quintessential in Tianna’s bayou universe…

We are loving the upcoming changes to Disney especially the Villian land, but we are so sad to be losing the riverboat and Tom sawyer. My 2 asd kids love that space as it is so quiet and perfect for them to escape to when the parks get a bit much. I am hoping Disney consider this in their upcoming plans and make sure to include some quiet spaces. Happy belated Birthday Sam :)

I was sad to hear the news about Tom Sayer island and Rivers of America 😞. This was a great place to get away from crowds, chill out for a bit. And I hope..I hope..I hope we don’t lose Muppet Vision for the new Monster’s Land coming to Hollywood Studios. Don’t get me wrong..I’m very excited for what is to come to the parks but it breaks my heart that other iconic areas will get replaced.

Another reputable channel stated that the new Monsters Inc land is NOT going in the Muppets area but in Animation Courtyard although this has not been confirmed by Disney yet. It does make the most sense. I worked at that park and know how much real estate is behind there just like Sam stated. Tons of room! I was working at MGM when they announced this doors coaster. We were all so excited! Then bummed when the plans got canceled. They were also talking about turning Spaceship Earth into a coaster. Glad that didn’t happen! 😅 Excited for Cars but sad where it’s going. It will be extremely hard to see Rivers of America go and the Liberty Belle. I wish they could preserve that somehow. I’m excited for all these announcements and need to expedite my move to Orlando so I can witness all this! Exciting time to live there! Happy Belated Birthday to Sam! I didn’t realize our birthdays are close together. Mine was on the BIG D23 parks announcement day! We are both Leos! Awesome! And where did he work and when? I was there in 2003. Worked at Hollywood and Vine and 50s Prime Time as a host. I also worked at ABC Commissary for a short time. Another thing worth noting. Walt’s family is NOT happy about an audio animatronic being made of their grandpa. They were not consulted about this decision. It was Roy’s family only. Walt said that he never wanted to be made into an animatronic. This is what the family is saying and plan to fight this decision. It will be interesting to see how far they get with this. They are mostly nervous because this gives the company control on how grandpa Walt can move and talk. They could make him say anything they want which might not be quite accurate. They Not WDW related but was a huge announcement at D23. Awesome video as always, Jackie! ❤

I absolutely love y’all’s enthusiasm. I really appreciate your thoughts of where everything‘s going to be. There’s so many things to be excited for, I think I am the most excited for villains land. I just want to follow through with what they are “promising”. I love Disney, it’s my happy place, it’s my favorite theme park. I don’t agree with some of the things they do, but I will always love to go to Disney.

Not liking that Rivers of America is being demolished for Cars Land. Would of been better to have it in a 5th park. Next D23 they will announce a new ride replacing the Carousel of Progress.

Quite excited for some of these changes, i agree that Launch bay is the best area for Monsters inc. DAK changes will be interesting, that space has never really been used correctly. It is slightly disappointing that Frontierland is going, as it was Walts fave in Disneyland, and Roy made sure it was complete for opening at WDW. Villains land I think will connect Frontierland to fantasyland around the back of Pinocchios. Here's a project for Sam's historian skills. I have seen a photo of Roy Disney standing outside of the Trading Post in WDWs Frontierland, but never been able to find it again. I think you 2 are the most savvy about these things as your knowledge is top notch.❤

My first thought about all the new stuff going in is "oh great, five-ten years of construction walls. The second thing I think is the money is probably better spent fixing the new rides and attractions that don't work, repairing the crumbling rides, and plussing what already exists... New attractions and lands are great and all, but what is already there should be awesome, and lately it's kind of worn and lackluster.

My theory about the villains land is, Disney said this is going to be the largest expansion yet. So is it possible that what we got in the concept art could only be a taste of what we actually get in the new land ? I hope so.

I have to admit, I haven't done Liberty Bell or Tom Sawyer Island in a long time, so I won't miss it as much. It, however, would be nice if they could still incorporate the Liberty Bell steam engine and horn sounds in that area. I always love hearing the horn in the haunted mansion ride que. A nostalgia reminder.

Just by looking at the concept art Jackie it looks like the cars attraction is going to be a very outdoors style ride but heres the thing we all know that Florida weather is very inclement so I would assume some of that ride would be inside right ??!!

😃 this was a fantastic way to explain what changes are coming, thank y'all both. Y'all did great😊 this was the best way to show the changes,in the actual spots that are changing. I don't like some of the changes, but change is necessary for parks to keep up with the times😢 I wish that all parks would put more friendly rides for people with disabilities though. We don't go to amusement parks because it's not worth the money for us, if we can't do much there. Disney World is like the best park fir people with disabilities to ride some slow dark rides, and whenever i hear that changes are coming, I'm like please don't put in rides i can't ride, and for people like me. Anyway, not many people who have disabilities go to amusement parks, so that's probably why most parks are tons of coasters. Ok enough about that. I'm very sad about Dinosaur, dispite the back and neck akes after riding, it was worth it to see Dinosaurs. However, the last time i rode it with my Mom it was really hard to stand up and walk, so i don't think I'd ever be able to ride Dinosaur again anyway 😢 I wish that Muppets would just get a update remodel like they did Country Bears and not get rid of Muppets. However, I've only been to Disney World twice as an adult, I'm 41 years old, so I'm not sentimental about the changes, just sad that I didn't get to enjoy those amazing rides and spots enough before they change😢 So many things will be different, when we go to live in Florida in 2027😮 Anyway, this was a great way to show what changes are coming. My hope for the possible coaster in villains land is it’s either based off the black vines from Sleeping Beauty. Or, what I really hope for, is that it takes you through different villain lairs. That would be amazing.

With the changes to Dinoland, the Airstream RV community will no doubt be abuzz. It is often a tradition to take a picture with the Airstream trailer (#15244) that sits outside of Restaurantosaurus. I am personally going to launch a campaign to get that moved (along with the restaurant's facade) to the Airstream Heritage Center in Ohio as a culturally significant unit.
