This expansion is all the yes! It's what we all wanted from EoD, it's for sure in line with what I've wanted from the game. So feature rich. Super excited for this.
I want to play this game so bad but my god trying to figure out what I need to buy to get all story content is so bad, wow is the only mmo that makes it simple.

@@Puppetmaster2005 Yes it absolutely is. And it is on sale currently. 100% worht the money. Also if you are missing IBS it is worth it as well .The ending of it is bad but the first half has excellent and very farmable maps.
@@Puppetmaster2005 Absolutely! I mean it’s 50% off which is a bargain - comes with new elite specs, some great meta events and the 4 Strikes there are excellent imo (both good content + great for gold!). Genuinely great value at that price point
TBH it's a revenue play and I hope it helps them keep going. The last expansion, third expansion pack, was released February 28, 2022 This release only has 2 zones, reworking how hard it is to get the Skyscale, $25, Tossing a bunch of weapons across classes no one really asked for. Could have easily just been a living story. It was 5 years between PoF and EoD.

the leveling up experience is so brutally bad that i cant play this game. I wish i could be excited for it but yeah i cant do it. just start me off at 80 good lord.

I hope the scepter for Rev is good. Right now it's the class that will get the fewest new skills once this new batch of weapon unlocks come out. All the other classes either get a two-handed weapon, a one-handed weapon for both main and off-hand, or get more skills due to their class mechanics (attunements on ele and dual skills on slot 3 for thief).
I tested hammer mechanist and immediately fell in love with it. I also tested Sword/Dagger Tempest and it was a really chill build to do openworld stuff. And since I'm going fo the 3 legendary armors, I think I've got my hands full til the end of 2024.. just to think the day before the patch I was on the verge of putting the game on maintenance mode... fast forward to now and I've made the prepurchase and I'm now counting the days til August 22.
I want to login for this beta but for some reason I couldn't autologin today and was being asked for my 2FA which is apparently tied to an old phone number so now I'm waiting on Arenanet support to get back to me so I can login. Nervous it won't happen over the weekend here now though and that I'll miss out on the beta...
that Wizard tower has been in that location since GW1. According to the lore, the Wizard Isgarren lives in it. The elementals that protect the town nearby in GW2 were placed by that Wizard as protectors, according to some NPC dialog in that town. I don't think he has ever been shown on neither game.
Problem i have with this expansion is the "features" 80% of them are core changes, which takes away from them adding real features. Doesnt seem like a meaty expansion to be charging 5 bucks less then the norm. With that said will be fun to watch how they evolve them once the complaints happen. Like the wizard vault since they add this new currency and remove daily logins and believe change our dailies to give the new currency. What is the exchange rate going to be on things like gold, mystic coins, etc. Because atm without more details of them makes having alt accounts useless, and if theyre using alt accounts as #s for their playerbase theyll see a significant drop in "playerbase" and drop in game purchases. One big positive about this expansion though is the story. Its a place everyone wanted and has wanted since 2012. When we got griffons, i remember seeing tonnes of ppl try to break the map and get to the floating island. And saw it again with skyscales. Atm i do feel like we're going to be cheated a bit. Like they changed their buisness model again. After eod and b4 gyla, we were told its gonna be expansion, then 2 free updates, then repeat. And right now it feels like were just paying for it all upfront but getting the expansion in 3 releases. Which is also why they said it would be cheaper then previous expansion model. At the end of the day all questions will be answered once it comes out and we finish this cycle and start the next
Needs a pvp rework cuz having certain classes just become invulnerable for what feels like a lifetime is just not fun to play against. Hard to understand someone who cannot be dropped from 90% hp then absolutely shreds you. It’s just… bad sometimes. One shotting people doesn’t even feel good in this game it just feels… bad. They need to dial it back a bit so new players can actually learn wtf going on. My friends and I are decent at pvp but certain classes just completely shit on us without us being able to even have a close fight, I can’t imagine someone who isn’t somewhat invested in pvp already or in gettin guild missions done to bother with pvp. WvW is even worse it’s just mass invis dragon hunter abuse like… why are traps one shotting us? Why did four dragon hunters pop out of stealth stand still then murder everyone within 15 feet of them? Oh right because the pvp is kind of atrocious
I find this expansion werry interesting aswell. Its encuriging to get in to build crafting and finding perfekt fantasy hero model. Looking forward. Thanx for the video ❤🔝❤️
Raids are nice but lack of a good friendly guild and irl friends playing with you is very low so lege gear open world is very welcomed although i got mine from wvw i have to do it again just for the looks :D
I had always wished that your role was determined by your gear and not your elite spec and they are finally doing that thank god. Maybe this means we will see some changed to specs like Druid that are so tied to using Staff
I am like one third of the way done with the skyscale and its been taking me ages. Are they going to add a new method apart from this one or are they gonna replace the current one? Cause if that's the case then I'm just wasting my time right now
as a casual , ill come back to this game for the easy skyscale , no way i was going to do all that complicated crap to get it before, finally the first youtuber to mention that the new relics is like the diablo 4 aspects! this new relic update is super exciting! it almost feels like the start of GW 3!
I am so excited about this! Just a bit sad that I have not done any of the previous expansions besides the core game yet. Maybe because this is a new storyline I might be able to jump into this when it comes out without feeling lost? I kinda hope so, and then I can go back to the previous stuff later.
You'll probably find references in the SotO story that you won't understand, but it seems to be the most standalone story we'll get so far. New characters and some from the core story.
Cool, a new city where you can't go into any buildings and no content, where you have to change maps every 25 seconds and resummon all your necro pets. Awesome! GW loves empty cities with great artwork like that town in Vabbi that you can walk around and explore for 2 hours that has NOTHING in it but one hero point.
the skyscale aquisition quest was just dumb, design maps around it and make it impossible for new players to join a group effectively and not like it was fun it was just one nasty fetch/grind quest . just make the grind quest for a 2 seater or something but locking out all the new players was is dumb
