Said this on another video but i really hope they add the improvised bow back in, also expanding the leather working. Flasks, belts, sheathes, holsters. That work with the existing ones. So annoying having a belt but no attachments or attachments and no belts. I just want to live my solo survivalist life xD
I hope they make the bow a little more realistic though- for example...crafting the parts to make a Penobscot Primitive Bow Kit, which then you would have to assemble. (instead of just assembling a long stick and a rope...which would be unrealistic...and it would remind me of RUST)
@@DayzedTransceiver yeah maybe, I'm fairly happy to suspend disbelief in some stuff. The improvised bow used to be in the game and they took it out so it's literally in the game files. Would be cool to have a modular one you could make though, that is made from planks and hardwood or something.
What happened to Spaggies? I went on this past week and couldn’t load in, I figured it was resetting and so I tried it again and again for a couple hours on and off and had no luck - couldn’t search for it either. If you could update the best servers available that would be great. Ideally I’m looking for something where you can build a base and have no raiding on… but also just updates on any other vanilla or vanilla + with few mods or none at all.
I’m a broken record but if the zombies got a refreshing overhaul with new animations and models it would really be nice.. don’t think this will ever happen cos it seems to be “important” content is just a silly wolf mask.. zzzzz

The changes are honestly pretty minimal in comparison to project zomboids upcoming build42 update. I wont be buying frostline, its just a overpriced £30 map. Honestly I think dayz devs are lazy AF
The wolves always looked like coyotes to me die to their small size. The bears are also small as far as bears are concerned. It would be cool if the would stand up 7 feet tall and roar before charging
The only thing dayz has too do is add mods for console and it would change the game instantly the modding community would do exactly what people wanted so the devs could focus on more important things leaving little details and changed too modders the argument that console can’t run mods is out the window now arma reforger has proved that
I think it’s more one of those things, but you do not have access to the files and everything that you would need to edit to make mods work on console. Even most of the cross play games that I have played that has mod have to be way dumbed down so console players can even get into the world. More often than not it seems silly things like sony not wanting you to have access to certain bits of your PlayStation files.
I'd just be happy to have some more clothing options that aren't always military. You get 6 people together and usually you can't tell them apart because everybody looks the same. Seems like for years, every update gets a "new" gun which is really just a rehash of a current gun.... I know they hired Windstride to do some clothing, but you could have just given us more colors of simple stuff like the mountain backpack... Oh and while i'm complaining... those stupid fanny packs two versions ago? WTF?!?! Unless you are going to add a crack pipe to the game, who the hell needs a fanny pack?
So glad that worms are stackable. It seemed silly that a single worm would take up a slot. I wonder what the max amount of worms that can be stacked will be. The temperature changes sound like a good idea. And the change to how much you can hold in your inventory also makes sense. When I see people can put a Mosin, or other rifle, in their backpack, I wonder where they got their magical powers. Despite wanting to carry as much as I can, the changes to inventory capacity make sense. I'm not a fan of making all wolf meat infected. It takes away another food source and turns wolves simply into another character like the Zeds to fight off. They should make the wolves look infected with open sores on their bodies. Like the creatures in Silent Hill. I do like the change of not being able to force feed someone from behind. That seemed OP from the start. Hopefully, they fixed Zeds so they can't hit us when their backs are towards us. I play on console, but, I hope for PC players that 1.26 fixes the ladder climbing bug. I watch a few DayZ streamers, and it's tough watching them glitch out when trying to climb a ladder and seeing the bug ruin their fun. Knowing that 1.26 is now live, I will try to jump on DayZ tonight after work. Thanks for the update!
It's definitely an interesting update with some very divisive changes. All together I quite like them, I welcome all difficulty changes because I think many players quickly adapt, even the less skilled ones. As long as it's not annoying or pointless, I think it's a positive step =]
Stopped playing a year ago due to the horrendous control system on console. Please tell me they've made improvements over the last year to console controls and menu navigation!?
They add and add but no improvements to zombies, it's bein the same buggy shit for years, especially the shit when you shoot them and they run another 2 steps and instantly fall on there back, it's one of the main reasons most of my friends don't play because the zombies look so bad
I'm kinda disappointed with how this update went. The smaller clothes and changes to predator meat are just another thing they're making needlessly tedious. I don't have much time to play dayz anymore, and with all the artificial difficulty hikes they've been adding over the years its just making things take longer and longer, not necessarily making them harder for veteran players like me, while simultaneously making the game more inaccessible for new players. Please Bohemia, settle down a bit...
I couldn't agree more, this will be an unpopular change for many players. I get that the battery in a tee-shirt is ridiculous, the seemingly random changes to make things harder just seems cruel. I run a server for new players to help give them a chance to survive and learn things, but DayZ already lacks some interesting things found in other games like stats and skills, so just randomly making it harder does drive new players away. I'll leave the light on for them, but it still sucks.
@@neo-farmers-dayz2052 Exactly my point. I remember when I started playing dayz. The game bugging out was more of a threat then the zombies which you could stunlock by punching. I won't lie, that was almost a little too easy, but it still took me a few days to really get to grips with all the different survival aspects and learning the map, especially because I was trying to play with friends. I couldn't imagine trying to survive with a new group in the state the game is now, we'd have never made it off the coast.
I mean there repair and add things to game but what really they should be looking at is base building on console its so bad it needs improving stronger walls to easy to raid other bases
Honestly love less inventory. I'm carying like 3 or 4 weapos and a bunch of gear, thats not really realistic (specialy now that i just came back from hicking hahaha) But man id love to have back the improvised bow, Specialy if they wanna focus more on a survival arround the woods and less running through a city to get a gun and pvp
I think that was a great update no one asked for, players were literally walking squads beforehand. Thumper, tundra, m4, tons of nades, ammo, and food for a week. Too much crammed up their butts before this.
Soft skills have been removed WTF. As a legit non duping player who enjoyed the boost in locking I'm not happy about that. If anything they should be adding static soft skills as your character stays alive over time.
It will make you build faster and open locks faster but I've never built these skills up to build unless it's just because I put up 30 walls or something. @@Peter-ek3iy
PS4 is going to be struggling! PS4 pro will do a hell of a lot better than PS4 but even the pro will still be struggling... 👉🏻 I got this game when it first came out. Except for a few years getting updated here and there but then I started seeing the change on how they were really updating this game and the improvements that were going in! I'm glad I got this game!
I don't like the hot food thing. Have you ever cooked food over a campfire or fireplace? Yeah, if you eat the food immediately right after the worst thing that will happen is you might burn your mouth a little bit. You're not going to injure yourself. That's just dumb. Ever cooked a hotdog over a campfire and then eaten it? Does it kill you? No. So now what you have to do is cook the food, store it for a couple minutes, and then eat it? I suppose the two-minute span brings the food from death-inducing to life-providing? It's stupid. Really, really stupid. Whoever came up with this should be fired.

Just because there’s ZoMbIeS doesn’t mean rocket ships should be flying around left and right cause it’s not “realistic” the game is trying to simulate real life in a video game. The update is stupid, unless food is 382937362299238363838337373 degrees you’re not damaging your body eating it.
I like most of the new stuff except for the inventory reduction. There was already low enough stamina and people already have to choose carefully what to carry and what to ditch
@@Crookz_FPS You either didn't read any comments in this video or didn't watch the video at all and just went straight to the comments, cause this is an update. Raw meat was always (very high chance) going to cause sickness, which cooking would clean. So updating us by telling us Wolf and Bear meat are now considered infected means there was another change to the normal raw meat rule. I would assume they basically just out-ruled it safe to eat no matter if its cooked now.
They need to rework base building in it’s entirety, idk why they focus on these quality of life changes when official dayZ could be amazing with a better base building design/system as well as military zones having actual increased dropped making perfect for pvp supplies, interaction with players. Some will say military zones are fine the way they are now but I personally don’t agree, if military zones are supposed to a point of interaction then the loot better respawn/refresh and be better or in my opinion it’s just better to kill players then to waste 6 hours go from one military zone to another to find a goddamn mag and the correct bullets.
Not everyone is bum and can waste 6 hours to find the correct mag and ammo and also food is already tough so making wolfs and bears infected is stupid asf. Great now I have to spend not only super long on finding ammo and mags but I’ll probably almost be died if I don’t kill another player for their food supplies. This is why there is a large community of players that play PVE it’s almost like they want it to be damn near impossible to survive. I remember when I first started learning this game and finding food and guns and ammo can be such a headache that in the time it spend you to take to have fun you could have already been chilling on another game. I like hard video games but at this point dayZ harder then real life survival.

Honestly, I did one like 2 years ago just to test the water and it was one of the worst-performing videos I ever did 😅 So I then released a short 16-minute one for members and that never really received any positive feedback either. I prefer these types of videos to the episode ones but I could probably try and make an episode one in future if enough people wanted it =]
You’re not gonna hit a shot over 1000 meters, players only Render in up to 1200 meters maximum. Best scope zoom is 4x with 1000 meter zeroing, try hitting a longer shot
Netcut/lag switch has destroyed dayz. You got groups of guys making a killing off of kits while dayz doesn’t make a dollar. What a shame 😶😬 official servers will never recover!
Hmm that’s an idea I’ll give it a go tomorrow when I get on and let you know I did try to equip it to the mask section but didn’t let me even tried it on glasses and backpack then thought maybe it takes the vest section up as it’s going over my top but none worked
This is not everything in it, no. This is only what is released in the 1.26 side of the huge update and excludes an entire new map, 100s of assets, and dozens of pieces of new content, plus additional systems and features including new dynamic events, boats and much more not yet announced.
Juat makibg the game not enjoyable anymore. All the stuff they done is crap to me. Why cant they make builds harder to get into. Or make the builds for ps5 like they do pc. More important things to do than more infections. Crap
@@AlwaysStreams i used to poison my food after i was satisfied i could run for a while and when id die, any food in my pack was deadly after a firefight. if they ate it that is. small gamble but it was fun while it lasted. it was waaay back in the day, when bananas and oranges were still around in vanilla. love your vids man, keep em coming!
Literally all I care about is the wipe why is there no confirmed 100% exact time I swear it’s almost like it was never confirmed that there was ever gonna be a wipe
So console still has not got a new map yet? really hope console gets a new map soon, playing the same two maps is getting really boring. I lost interest in the game for that reason.
At least let me carry stuff in both hands if your going to take inventory space, that way i could carry 2 short skirts around as extra storage as a freshie🤣
I dont really get the excitement.. on modded servers we have all played against dinosaurs, aliens etc etc... here we get stacking worms, hares and grass that moves when animals walk on it..
Plus a complete rework of entire core systems of gameplay, some of which has an impact on almost everything else in the game, lots of bug fixes, an entire list of changes and so on =]
@@LaCream973 you clearly don't know game development. Or even read the patch notes. They are fixing a lot of bugs. And adding content. Fixing bugs are almost impossible. Adding content is easier and keeps the community happy.
