I start with dry body brushing. When it's hot, I go in the wet room twice a day as it's all set up with lights and sound system. Bath pearls, rose water and Bluebell. Then I leave 'I love you' in my children's bath foam letters against the wall. ❤ The cats are settled on the warm towels, so I drip dry. Anything than remove our furry loved ones!
Very lovely stuff😂🎉❤noted-I myself got a revamp in my body care products the last year-(except Sunscreen that does not change) Salt and Stone, Bodyologist , Beauty Sou and Beauty of Joseon, Kerzon and Foamie soap bars 🧼 included..Vit C Niacamide I use the last 3 years additionally by Hyeja.I need to check Nevessaire though 😉🌊✨🌹 their Eucalyptus is a Miracle🌿
Slowly establishing a weekly “reset routine” was a huge stepping stone for me as a young adult. It was the first time I used my money to treat myself and it also sets me up to take on a new week no matter how bad the previous was. I found a new love in the OUAI st barts body and scalp scrub. Smells spa like and a little goes a long way in lather compared to my previous Dove scrub (still love this as an affordable choice). After a scalp scrub, I use Herbal Essence argon oil shampoo and conditioner. While the conditioner sets in I body scrub. I then rinse everything and use the herbal essence argon oil hair mask. While that sets I wash my body with Natives “Cashmere Rain” or “Lilac & White Tea”. Native is a little pricey but the huge bottles last a long time and have great scents. I then finish the shower with Honeypot feminine foaming wash and rinse everything off. When Im out I towel dry. While I let my hair air dry a little more I cleanse with tatcha indigo balm and caudalie vinocleansing almond milk. I also found a new love in Fresh’s Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask. I then blow dry my hair and brush through with Hairitage oil (one bottle lasts literally forever). PSA to new routine setters, it’s okay to learn through trial and error :). Like I dont find the tatcha balm does much so when i finish ill look for a new initial cleanser. I’m also thinking of trying l’occitanes shower oil to make shaving a smoother experience. My current routine is the result of 2.5 years of experimenting. Both high and low end. Be patient with yourself in finding what works for you. Trial/travel sizes are your best friend
Thank you for sharing your 'reset routine' and advice Hannah! Such a great name for it - it's so true that going through this process can help us leave the previous week behind and feel slightly more at peace before the new one 😅🧖♀️ I love the sound of that OUAI scrub! I was so sad that my suitcase was overweight by the end of my LA trip over the holidays otherwise I would've brought back some Native body washes, I love Cucumber & Mint and they have SO many new scents to explore x
oooh this was so nice. Im a big French Pharmacy lover so my everything shower includes the Uriage Cleansing Shower Oil, I make my own body scrub with sugar and coffee. For moisturizing I use a combination of Biotherm Body Lotion mixed with a few spritzes of Nuxe Body Oil. For my hair I do a deep mask with the Klorane Mango Mask then wash with the Klorane Edelweiss Shampoo.
Ooh I love the sound of that body wash and hair mask, thank you for sharing! I'm a huge French pharmacy fan too and am so excited to shop in a Paris pharmacy again this summer, so I'll be sure to share what I repurchase and try out! 😄🇫🇷 x
I purchased the Laura Mercier Body Serum Cream in Neroli du Sud and it’s very luxurious. I don’t usually spend that much on a body cream, but after testing it in store, I had to buy it - leaves me feeling so soft. It’s part of the weekly ritual 😂
I have been wanting to try Necessaire’s products for a while now. You have given me something to add to my Sephora wishlist 😅 I recently started using Ouai’s St BART’s body scrub and I love it. The scent is heavenly. Never been to St BART’s myself but I am pretty sure it smells like that 😂
Thank you Pooja! Happy to answer any product questions as a Nécessaire fan from the moment they launched 😄🚿 Ooh I need to smell that body scrub in person! x
I wish I had an actual bath at my place, that would top it all off 😂🛁 Yes, double cleansing your scalp like we double cleanse our face can make a big difference! You can use different shampoos to treat different concerns x
I tried the necessaire body serum after you highly recommended it and wow I love it 🤩. I'm someone who hates thick body lotions that don't absorb but with a new goal to moisturize my body regularly (I usually neglect it...), it's the first product I genuinely look forward to using! 😍 So light and gel like but moisturising. Love love love
Yay Eloise! This makes me so happy 😄👏 It's such a dream texture when you want hydration in a hurry and don't like the feeling of product left behind on your skin, so I'm so glad you're loving it too x
Matilda! Because of you, the eucalyptus version of the Necessaire shower gel 8s my shower staple! Their deodorant, too. Now they need to give me their lotion in eucalyptus scent. ❤
So lovely to hear that Emily, thank you! 🥰🌿 They did release a limited edition Eucalyptus Body Lotion a couple of years ago but I'd looove to see them extend the scent range for that formula too x
Wonderful video, I love shower products. It is wonderful on Sunday wash hair for the start of the work week - I love Clarins relax bath and shower concentrate it has basil in it, just smells gorgeous and I use a hair conditioner in moisture kick spray by bonacure 😊 so nice!!!!!! I just love these products
So glad you're a big fan too! I know, I appreciate the fragrance-free hydration options but I'd also happily take everything in every scent possible 😄💚 x
When using Ouai I like to start with their detox apple cider shampoo, followed by their fine hair shampoo and conditioner. Their hair mask and hair oil aren't bad either :) . However, I also recommend the Redken Amino mint shampoo for a detox followed by their all-soft shampoo and conditioner. As for hair masks, I cannot recommend the Shiseido Fino Premium Touch hair mask enough (they also have a new formula called Shiseido Tsubaki Premium Repair Mask) followed by the Kérastase Elixer Ultime oil. Under the shower, I also like to 'detox' my face once a week and for that I'm really a fan of the Mizon hyaluronic sherbert peeling scrub - I would recommend to afterwards moisturise your face. Anyways, keep up the amazing videos Matilda!!
I have recently discovered the Kérastase Première Decalcifying Shampoo and Conditioner and omg it's amazing. Byyyy far the best haircare products I have tried in my 37 years. Highly recommend
If I go bankrupt after buying every necessaire product you mentioned with such details it's all your fault Matilda 🤭.....after watching this video I just wanted to slather myself in the eucalyptus body lotion by necessaire and curl up in my sheets but alas I have got to head to school after watching this...
Happy to take the blame for your beautifully soft skin Prachi! 😂🤍 Nécessaire's Body Lotion is only fragrance-free at this stage, but it means it works nicely with whatever body wash scents or other hydrating body products you combine it with x
The everything shower is so therapeutic 😶🌫️ Necessaire has been a staple in my bathroom from the moment you recommended them, Matilda! What are your thoughts on dry brushing?
I agree Kat ☺️🧖♀️ So nice to hear Nécessaire is part of your routine too! I do dry brush sometimes before I hop in the shower (when I remember!) but it's not a consistent part of my routine at this stage x
Oh no, I didn't realise this Sarah?! Might try to get some news from the Nécessaire team for you to see what's happening on the exfoliator front... I'll report back if I can! 🔎 x
