At 18:32 i demonstrated that force follow shot to My friends friend because He kept teaching and talking but wouldn't play for money or He wouldn't demonstrate what i did or what You did in this video, but thanks alot for making this video
Took me 18 years to understand this but yeah you are 💯 right but the speed in the center of your shooting line to the butt of your cue is also important
Like the video Al,what if you have a object ball on the rail close to either pocket corner of course is there a way to aim on those instead of just trying to skin the ball in.

Thank you! Very informative, but is there another video to explain the cue alignment? Are you using front hand or back hand English, or are paralleling the whole cue equally to the English applied? Sorry, new subscriber long time player....
Great question. Yes, Front hand English. Which essentially is paralleling the whole cue to the English applied. However, when doing this, you should already build your shooting line (feet alignment) before you even get down in the shot. You should not have to move your front hand when down in shot, you should fall right down into your shooting line, including the English you are applying, otherwise the entire stroke will be slightly out of alignment. 😁
I did say in the first minute that there are many factors and no specific recipe. Cue, tip, stroke, cloth, and balls ALL make a difference. (as I said in the vid) I find cue to be the largest factor, but I outline how to make the shots with any cue/tip by making the proper adjustments. 😁 You absolutely could take the tip off, but leather seems to grip the ball a little better than plastic. But, I could still make these shots with a phenolic break tip...no problem. 😁
Any tips for tournament play where you are playing on an unknown table? Some quick way to test the effect of felt (worn or brand new) and mentally adjust?
Great question. Yes, I start by doing some 3 Rail Kick rotations. Some easy masse shots. Then some inside and outside spin shots, like in this vid. That gives a guy a decent feel.
Because 80-90% of viewers watch on their phones in portrait/vertical mode. Also, easier to get the person talking in the video, as we humans usually stand vertical. 😁
