If you haven’t heard, they have already confirmed that the game is going to be completely different from Madden. The engine doesn’t have anything to do with the gameplay. The engine is just coding and different things like that. There’s plenty of video games that run on the same engine as Madden, but obviously it’s a different game. The frostbite engine has nothing to do with how the game play is the gameplay completely separate from the engine that it runs on. People have already played the demo of the college football game and they say that it feels very unique and it’s different.
The issue with Madden from what I understand is once they made the game a certain way you can’t go back and change it, you can fix it (patches) or add to it but you’re limited. So since Madden 18 they’ve just been patching and adding to gameplay to try and make it better. It’s like building a brick house then realizing all the pros to having a wooden house, you can put wood on your brick house but at the end of the day it’s still a brick house unless you completely tear it down which EA doesn’t have time to do due to the yearly release schedule they have with the NFL. This is just what I read I’m not a game design expert but it makes complete sense. The hope is if the college gameplay is better they can port it over to Madden .
If you’re strapped for cash just get the Xbox S it’s $200 cheaper it just doesn’t have as much storage and no disk drive but everything is digital now anyways. If you go with the S don’t buy NBA 2K it’ll eat up all your storage lol
Bro I respect the optimism but if it’s gonna be on frostbite and it’s already being made by EA. This shit gonna be a reskin of Madden and that gameplay gonna be hot doo doo
but i feel like the abilities make the game fun or if not abilities maybe at least like stars like legend bowl the higher u are overall maybe the star gets higher in ranking
@@judeethan795 abilities make you okay the game like an arcade style game instead of simulation IQ of the real thing we're in 2024 not 2004. An impact player has more than two or three abilities

No I would agreee with h I’ve been waiting for this game and I want realistic gameplay not arcade mode I want strategy quarterback passing and real cathes not arcade behind the back ones I just want some. Sort of abilities maybe just superstar where maybe lik somebody like Travis hunter has a better chance of intercepting when he’s in man coverage or something
@@judeethan795 like the old game the impact players made plays when needed no matter what coverage or offensive play you called it was determined by if you needed a 1st down in a tired game in the 4th the player would pulse letting you know he's ready to make a play a big hit could fire them up so when the RB got back on the field he'd be pulsing then you could hand the ball off and he'd make a play when needed just like in real life it was way better back then then Madden now if you're not calling a meta arcade play you pretty much suck at the game
