Wow this was SUPER interesting! I never knew the difference between being a nurse midwife at a hospital (and doing it their way) vs being a nurse midwife who does it as you called "low risk" - I think THAT'S the way to go (for women who are in low risk situations, of course). I don't like our current system of things, and I really hope that midwifery will grow and more women look into doing it this way, until it is widespread enough to sustain itself and be offered to anyone no matter how much money the patient makes!
I didn't realize you had your baby already, Maggie, but congratulations! I hope it went well/is going well! I'm not sure if you are making videos on your personal experience with that, but I would watch if you made them!
