It's pretty ambiguous if Sayaka has psychic powers or not. Some people thinks she does and some people don't. However, the creator of this game mentioned that he was inspired by Ace Attorney in certain ways and some of those inspirations can be seen in this game. So, considering that Ace Attorney has a character known as "psychic Maya" that was an actual psychic that acted as the assistant for the protagonist, my best theory is that Sayaka calling herself Naegi's assistant and saying that she's a psychic could be a reference to the character from that game. But again, she has a more than amazing and extremely accurate "intuition", so no one knows for sure.
Oh that's interesting. It might have been a reference then. If we're being realistic though it just felt so odd to me that she managed to so accurately state what Makoto was thinking, even if it were supposed to be some sort of irony. I'm enjoying the game nonetheless though so no matter!

@@LordNash_Ultra Despair Girls is a spinoff in the third-person shooter genre instead of being a murder mystery game like the other three. Technically in the sequence of events, it takes place between this game and Danganronpa 2, but it's recommended you play Ultra Despair Girls after Danganronpa 2 as there are events and characters that spoil Danganronpa 2. Alternatively, you can skip Ultra Despair Girls entirely if you really want to. Nothing happens in the game that you outright need to know to get the full experience of the other three games (cuz again, it's a spinoff). But if you're still interested, I won't stop you.
