love this!! I’ve enjoyed watching the vlogs with you, Lou and Gabby so much since your first year! I started uni the same time as you so it’s literally been so refreshing to see your experience, and your videos have really helped me through the years. So happy for you all finishing uni 💓💓
thanks so much for this. i cant lie, im kinda dying from stress about starting uni. everything will be new and im just already feeling overwhelme.d Im going to manchester met, so obvs a big city, lots of clubs etc. wristband tickets have been so stressful for me. i know i dont want to go to these events with people i dont know. i want to have a fun freshers but do things in my own time. its really reassuring to hear some of the things youve said. im gonna put myself out there but on my terms, im a sociable person so hopefully ill be able to find some good friends. in a way, im trying to set more of a relistic expectation on uni. there will be ups and downs and itll be lot for the first few weeks and thats okay. And i dont need to go out all the time, or everyday does not need to be something special. so thank you!
I'm going to Uni this year and turning 20 in september because i changed course in college im a year behind ... so glad that watching this made me realise I won't be the only one thats a bit older, also I've definately brought to much stuff for Uni 😂
I was stuck in a flat of 12 for a year with 5 people I hated and they hated me back it was stressful cause the flat just became so petty and spiteful I was so glad I could leave T-T (7 of us got along in 2 friendship groups then the 3rd friendship group would leave raw meats out, food in sinks, they put plastic in food waste, non-recycleables in recycling. It was horrendous)
Me and two friends won't be going to Uni until sept 2023 but we're thinking of renting a flat in Cardiff together. Do you think this is a good idea, especially for first year? I understand it will be a bit of a challenge, but I'm thinking if we save up for one close to the university it would be okay. All three of us are turned off by the thought of living with strangers 😂
hauls was the best thing for me, thats how I met these two! I think its something you don't want to miss but all personal preference at the end of the day!
