Ezra being Marrowak. I joked that he was no one, like the engineer in WandaVision, and I turned out to be right. You were right about it setting up some future things, it's just too bad it seemed to be ALL setup with almost no payoffs. Because much like with Marvel, everything has to be Empire Strikes Back now.

I get the feeling I'm one of the few that thinks Ahsoka season 1 is **as good** as season 1 of The Mandalorian. I think the whole season taken as a whole was excellent and a 9.5 out of 10

@@O0kalāshe/he absolutely is not correct lol…. Hayden barely ever wore the suit. It’s all stunt actors unless he is being “put together”… it’s also technically still anakin, wether vader believes that or not, he’s still anakin, we know this via return of the Jedi. Anakin was not dead.

I feel like a re-cast for Balin should happen personally. Ray played that part so well that I feel like the character's story should continue in his memory. Just my opinion. Also Rosario is AMAZING as Ahsoka.

13:29 Anakin represents the balance in the force, he may be a bendhu who knows, but, he rises above the two versions of the force (which bendhu cites to dume) and uses the force in the capacity that the mortis and bedhu do, he just uses the force in its spectrum and not slivers of different parts of the force

Point #2 on Force Ghosts... it's never been seen in Live Action, or what Disney considers canon, but Exar Kun had become a force ghost on Yavin.

22:37 he won't be a force ghost, he shouldn't be at least. Qui-gon pioneered it Yoda was taught by qui-gon Yoda trained kenobi Anakin is of the force, he's the balance of the force, knew of the force ghost due to his connection with qui-gon and kenobi. Because he is a master of the force (as stated by the father) and he can access the firce spectrum, he was able to present as a force ghost. Rather quickly as well, even yoda was just a voice after he expired, kenobi as well. Anakin just showed up at his own funeral.

12:29 he presents himself as his younger self because it's the last time he was whole and himself. Otherwise, he'd be presenting as a lava-burned corpse with no limbs

Marrok wasnt made of gas, the Nightsister magick poured out of him when he was killed, he probably did have a regular humanoid bod under that suit.

Ashoka Tano was the replacement of the Daughter, Anakin Skywalker was the replacement of the Father, so that means Baylan Skoll will be the replacement of the Son, also we know that in Norse Mythology the wolf named Skoll chased the Sun until Ragnarok!

Love you guys, been listening for years. I just wanted to say that I never thought Morrok was a nightbrother, I always assumed he was originally an inquisitor who allied with the Nightsisters after the empire fell. Then he died, and they resurrected him. Maybe he was both, nightbrother and inquisitor?

I thought Anakin appearing to Ahsoka was similar to Luke and “Vader” in the cave on Dagobah. Just an introspective training moment they each created to move forward.

Couple of thoughts. 1/ Hold onto the WBW getting from one galaxy to another idea. If Hera doesn’t come to pick up Ahsoka and Sabine, I could definitely see a WBW gateway on Peridia being their ticket back to their home Galaxy. 2/ Pull back on the ‘who represents the father, son and daughter’ Mortis gods question. Maybe nobody does. Ahsoka has a connection to the daughter’s power, but beyond that I’m not sure where this ‘represents’ idea comes from. They are their own entities and characters. Thinking that there has to be 1 to 1 parallels could set yourself up for unnecessary disappointment and frustration.

I feel like Baylan represents the Father, since he was a former jedi who has been disillusioned after the purge and now seeks something greater, but still holds onto some of the beliefs of the Jedi, so he kind falls into a grey area between Jedi and Sith.

Yep. Content creators need to pump the breaks. The other bad thing about Star Wars is that Dave and Co feel like they have to surprise fans, so what seems practical, reasonable, and logical won’t end up happening, because the fanbase predicted it…so they need to do something that was widely predicted…

Han was force sensitive, Obi Wan's smirk when he said "no unseen power controls me" what Han called luck was unconscious force manipulation, it's how he hit Boba Fett's back pack while still partially blind. The Room Between Worlds, may be how Ahsoka and Sabine get back to their home galaxy I wanted Sabine and Shiin to kiss as well, they still might

I think you guys misunderstand what the force is, and what it represents. The force is one thing. It has a dark side and a light side. It is a single consciousness. Therefore, when a Jedi becomes one with the force, they are the force and the force is them. When we see Anakin manifested, it is a force apparition, but it is also Anakin because they are the same thing. The ideas are based in the spiritual understanding of an omni consciousness. The idea that although we identify as individuals, we are and have always been part of one huge collective consciousness. That is what is implied by 'the force'. The idea that everything that happens (good or bad) does so because it is part of the largest narrative that the collective consciousness of all things is fully aware of and willed into existence. To understand this takes an adjustment of perspective, but the many spiritual influences that have influenced George and Star Wars since have all implied a very similar thing. We are part of something bigger. That is 'the force'. It's coded into the DNA of the foundation of all spirituality.

One interesting point the prequel trilogy establishes is that the ability to become a Force ghost was first discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn, and so only the Jedi in his particular heritage have inherited knowledge of his method. It hasn't anything to do really with Jedi or Sith; the knowledge is young, and secret, and only follows a certain lineage.

The world between worlds will be used heavily in the second season at least to use to get them off the world since they both are force users Ashoka and sabin will use their powers to open up the portal to use to get them back with ezra

Marok and some of the Inquisitors have cool armor designs, but are weak and always killed by padawans (and Sith lords). If the shows were gonna kill them off anyway why not just use nameless Imperial Shadow Guards from the Force Unleashed games? Essestially the same (although the Shadow guards actually seem stronger compared to inquisitors).

So far anyone who is a Sith can't manifest as a force ghost. Siths can leave imprints of themselves in holocrons or on objects. Also areas that are strong with the force can manifest Sith spirits. But it's fundamentally different in the fact that they cannot leave the area or object they are contained Within.

as far as force ghosts, in the wellspring of life episode of the Clone Wars, do they not establish that you must face your darkside in order to become balanced and become a force ghost? so only balanced peoples can become spirits. This explanation also gives way to why Han Solo could be a spirit. It should also be mentioned that Jedi, Sith, etc... are not force empowered, they have a greater ability to manipulate it. All beings have force, it binds everything together.

when te daughter and father died in the clone wars 2 locks of the cage were Abaloth is jailed were opened. The Son weakend asleep is the last lock Baylan is about to awaken or kill the son, opening the cage..... ahsoka and anekin will have their hands full in both sides of these realms

Going by old EU lore they can but they don't get the freedom that a normal force ghost has. They end up trapping themselves to a object or a location.

I still wish Rey was one of the 2 clone embryos of a powerful sith lord! While she as a frozen embryo was stolen by the resistance, the other one was planted inside Shmee skywalker years ago and left on Tattooine to live in obscurity, but under surveillance by Darth Sidious! This would explain why Shmee does not know Anakin's father! When yoda said, "There is another", he meant Rey. Why kylo wants to be as powerful as vader but Rey already was! This would have been an awesome twist! With this twist & avoiding killing Snoke, the sequel trilogy could have been salvaged!

We see the statues of the father and son, but a living form of the daughter as the owl. That’s an interesting contrast to the daughter’s statue being broken. Makes me think Anakin’s role in this is the Son use the memory of Anakin to manipulate Asoka, but to what end?

I think they started setting some kind of connection between Shin and Sabine, and I'm excited to see them continue that. The curious glance from Shin in episode 6 made me go from 'this could be interesting' to 'oh, are they going there?'

I disagree about Thrawn. I didn’t watch Rebels so for me, Thrawn was the stand out of this series next to Baylan. I’m glad they didn’t wait until season two to introduce hims.
