Nintendo suffered a huge loss with the Wii U so when making the switch they couldn't buff it the way we'd wanted them to. You see how the Wii U game pad influenced their idea of working with the switch Hopefully now they'll have something that can hit 2K Resolution & 60-120 fps
Graphical power is a bonus in gaming. Some of the greatest games don’t even touch 720P. The Switch needs to implement more of their online/social aspects into the Switch 2. No reason why a switch shouldn’t have party chats, invite systems, music, streaming, etc. Nintendo will always do well with their IPs but their software and even UI is so lacking compared to a PS5 or XBOX
Here are 7 things I would like to see from Nintendo in the near future: 1: Nintendo Switch 2, with the power of a playstation 5 pro & to be backwards compatible 2: Backwards compatible Nintendo Switch 2 Lite with an OLED screen & built in DOLBY atmos sound 3: Full 3rd party support from Japan 4: Purchase of Retro studios for 100% ownership ( the studio behind Metroid Prime trilogy & Donkey Kong country returns series ) 5: Multiple partnership deals with Microsoft ( xbox game pass; Nintendo 64 remakes of Rareware games on both systems; OG xbox virtual console ) 6: Select few 1st party games to be published on Steam, just like the xbox & playstation have done in the past few years 7: More regular discounts of 1st party titles on the Nintendo E-shop
I feel like it would be smartest for Nintendo to call the second generation Switch the Switch 2 so that they can try an avoid the earliest problem with the Wii U. A lot of people didn't realize that the Wii U was a second generation Wii. A name like Switch Pro would spark the same confusion as a the Wii U and a name like Super Switch would sound very outdated like Super Nintendo outdated. The Smartest choice for Nintendo would be to just call it the Switch 2, even if this is just the boring safe choice.
I’m sure the Switch 2 won’t be facing the same shortage problem as the PS5 or the Series S/X. The main driving factor was that they were released during the covid pandemic that basically ruined the supply chains and increased the demand for computer chips. Switch 2 won’t be competing against anything else for chips and there’s no pandemic anymore slowing down the supply chains or increasing the chip demands. Also they’re more likely to be store ready cause again no pandemic. Yes they will likely sell out fast but it won’t take nearly as long to resupply so any scalpers that dare try their luck with the Switch 2 will likely end up spending way more than they can make back.
We don’t know anything, because Nintendo hasn’t even acknowledged that they are working on a new console. That’s how little we actually know. Everything on this list is really just rumor and speculation at this point in time.
I agree with you. Until there is actual confirmation from Nintendo, everything thats been "leaked" I consider just rumors as far as im concerned. Even if they aren't baseless.
There would basically be no point in having a cartridge slot on the Switch successor if it is not compatible with Switch cartridges… I highly doubt Nintendo would’ve moved to cartridges for only one generation
here are the possible names for next-gen Nintendo console: - Nintendo Switch U - Nintendo Switch Advance - Nintendo Switch DS - Nintendo Switch XL - Super Nintendo Switch - Nintendo Play and Watch - Nintendo Portal 👈 this rings the most 😂
Imagine games getting an upgrade to the version with high res. FPS. for 3rd party games (esp AAA) they could do a cool upgrade from the og switch version
Literally why praise the backwards compatibility for the company known for removing virtual console and only putting a relative few titles over a subscription wall and making a vast majority of their games impossible to buy at best, and illegal to play at worst? Nintendo gets a lot of things right, but it's treatment of legacy content and fans who enjoy legacy content is not one of them. Nintendo doesn't hide the fact that it hates it's fans with a passion, lol. Don’t spread misinformation.
Honestly I think the direction that a huge amount of the Nintendo IP‘s are headed won’t have the kind of successes that Nintendo‘s had with previous consoles… It’s getting so that Nintendo in general is for collector’s. PC for everything else.
@@swingcity7pro tip: you cab actually own the game if you have it as a physical copy. This is ehy the compabies are pushibg more for the digital so you don't own the game.
WM. You don't know that it will be called the switch 2. You don't know that "Nintendo is looking to freshen things up." And you don't know that it will be a hybrid console. Everything you stated is likely for the successor console but not KNOWN. Respect your viewers.
I think it’ll have a 1080p screen and Nintendo will call it something totally different to avoid the WiiU problem. I’m stoked it’ll have COD on it though!
Oh don’t worry, they won’t have it nearly as easy as they did with the PS5 and Series S/X. No pandemic, no supply chain interruption, no increase in chip demand, just the Switch 2 coming out by itself with no competition. There’ll will be a shortage in the early months sure, but that won’t be nearly as bad as the 2 year shortage last time because again the pandemic which is no longer around to help the scalpers create an artificial shortage.
Quick question, I just recently got my own Nintendo switch, and now there’s already the new one. Should I just upgrade to it or just stick with my current one?
Just keep it. I have the original Nintendo Switch too (V2). Nintendo Switch is meant to have fun and a unique experience on the go or at home. I don't care about the FPS and Graphics being optimized as long as it's playable. Besides, the handheld mode also felt right for my hands since bigger portable device is not comfy for my hands like the OLED. I don't know about you, do you bother about the graphics or the FPS during your gameplay?
@@Zaeem_ZR Good question. I honestly don't really care that much. I oringinally got my Switch (the OLED version) because I was asking my fellow coworkers and asked them for reconmendations on which one they think I should aim for. I'm just hoping that the new game that are said to be coming out on the new consol are compatable with the old version.
@@MrGrimjaw I bought mine in October of 2022. I'll wait for the new console to turn 1 or 2 years old though, I like to wait for the catalogue to flesh out.
Not having drift is not something we should be celebrating. It should never have been a problem to begin with and we should not be patting them on the back for something they were supposed to do with the Switch from the beginning.
Ive been a nintendo loyalist as a kid with the nes, snes, and n64 days but until Nintendo makes a powerful system like PS5 and Xbox X, it will not have a shot at many games being playable on there that we want. And will be 3rd fiddle, especially yo adult players. Nintendo's made it clear they are more focused on fun for the family and trendy video game innovation. I appreciate this, but I wish they would realize they can do both with a more powerful system.
I want the new Nintendo console to be called NS2, (Nintendo Switch 2) especially if it's a hybrid console. Brings back memories when Sony named the PS2.
The video should just be 5 seconds long saying "nothing". Because no actual information has been officially released yet, just leaks, which have been happening since the first week of the og switch lol
Alot of rumors saying nintendo switch 2 will release early 2025 however a company missing the holiday season is rediculously stupid my prediction is september or november
In a humid country, the LCD of the current switch (not the OLED) is trash, besides the joycon drift, someone has to address this company before they make early Switch 2 suck again...
It’s confirmed it’s coming late 2024 which means maybe we’ll actually get a new animal crossing game for it but honestly I’m looking forward to if Nintendo switch games will get to be compatible with the second gen and honestly it would be really awesome if Nintendo can actually make sure this next version of Nintendo switch will actually not have issues with the joycons and not only this but hopefully we can get themes on switch 2 but honestly I’m thinking the next switch might end up revamped as the new Nintendo switch
This is tru now so yeh a switch 2 is coming and it is called switch 2 and not 2 early 2 release hopefully Mario kart all stars will release with console on the same day by that i means super smash kart but it’s all called Mario kart all stars
