Everything Went Wrong Today! I Don't Have Time for a Meltdown 

Danni, I am a very strong woman . This last 1.5 years have put me through more hell than I thought possible. I certainly had my meltdown moments. Those moments are our psyche’s way of purging frustration. You have every right to show your human side. Things will come together-you will see.

I really admire Tiffany, she's been such a good friend to you. She never got in the middle of the problems with the people who left the shop and that shows a lot of class in my opinion.

To feel overwhelmed is to be human. Allow yourself the pain, sadness, and frustration. You’ve got this ❤

I am so happy for you to be in your own home! It’s OK to live with unpacked boxes-we’ve all done it. If you and the kids each spend 15 minutes once or twice a day unpacking something, you will know you’ve made progress, even if it’s slower than you would have liked. Slow and steady wins the race!

I think it was the fabulous Dolly Parton that said it best when she said " You can't have a rainbow without the rain." And showing your feelings, raw emotions, and breakdowns are NOT a weakness. In fact it is a show of strength and courage. Sometimes life can reach a point where we do have those breaks, we reach a point where we are so full of emotion holding it in is detrimental to our health. Every once in a while we have to step back and instead of taking things day by day we have to set goals hour to hour... smaller goals that will help us reach our main goal but large enough to see we are making progress. Sending all the prayers, good vibes, and positive energy your way. All of this will be over soon and you will be able to finally reap the rewards of your suffering for the last month or so

Dear Danni, I’ve watched your videos throughout your moving journey and I’m amazed that with all you’ve had to deal with, you haven’t had a meltdown sooner! You are an amazing woman, mother and business person! I admire all the aspects of you, not just your strength. Thank you for sharing all of you. You are generous with your wisdom for other resalers and customers. I always learn something from you. Your heart is huge. You love and care for your family, your animals and your customers and viewers. I’m so sorry that you were let down by multiple workers during your move. COVID has changed some aspects of our lives that I’m afraid may never go back to “normal”. I don’t understand why people don’t want to do a days work anymore or why they have no work ethics or pride in doing a good job. You have the love and support of many friends because you are a good person! I’m so happy that you have a home of your own now, congratulations on that! Hang in there! You’ve got this! My 10 yr old and I did a huge house all by ourselves. Make your kids for help. It's ok to delegate. Not everything needs to be on schedule.

When I was moving, I sat in the middle of my floor surrounded by my stuff and had a major breakdown. I consider myself a tough cookie, but sometimes we just need to let go, it’s ok. So glad you shared this with us.

We all fall apart. Moving is a very stressful time and hiring people right now is almost impossible everybody wants money nobody wants to work. I I’m sure over half of us have been exactly where you’re at at one point in time. We love you.❤❤

Danni, why don't you ask Gary and Will if they could measure (and pick up)for a piece of plywood to put over the pool table for now. Just make sure you have a towel or something for where the plywood will hit the side panels of the pool table (for cushioning). This way you can put a sheet over it and use it as a large utility table for unpacking and putting items that need to be moved to a different room. I think it will be really quite handy for you (and it will be protecting your pool table while the birds are out there).

It seems like a universal problem to find people who are honestly looking to do a great job. My husband and I talk about the lack of commitment from the people who laid our floor wrong to the person at the drive in window who can’t remember your order and gets it wrong. It’s a different time in the world. You’re right it shouldn’t be so hard. Your new home is fantastic!

You will get thru it. You will. Moving is hard for anyone. The fact that you have many pets & got them all moved safely is in itself a feat. Don’t worry about showing your melt down. Indeed you are human & you’ll bounce back. I’m in my late 80’s & made a 2500 mile move. A whole year has gone by. Time goes by so fast so before you know it you’ll be settled in. Figured things were pretty rough, but knew you'd make it. Most would have had meltdowns much sooner. Amazing all you've accomplished just the last two days. The house looks fantastic! The lady who cleaned did a phenominal job. It's good to let employees at the shop do all they can which in turn gives you time for other tasks. With every move I have made...I reach a point that I decide I hate my stuff...and I want to throw it all away. It is so overwhelming. I cannot imagine having inventory on top of household belongings. I try to fight through the frustration because I know I will replace anything I get rid of. Hang in there Danni...it will get better.

You are an amazing woman! My husband and I love watching your channel. We both said several videos ago that we don’t think we could have done everything you have had to do for this move! The fact that you posted this video shows your incredible strength of character. We all tend to put way too much on our shoulders and sometimes we need to have a meltdown to release all that tension. Just because you break down every once in awhile doesn't mean you aren't a strong person. We all have a breaking point and it's OK to let the tears stream. But yes, you will get through this and you will be so relieved when it's all done.

I'm getting ready to move out of state soon, have WAY too much stuff - and animals. You have been both inspirational and instructional. When we close on our place in Phoenix I will have someone come in, just like you did, and build that. I even learned to go to Thumbtack from you to find the workers! this too shall pass , i have learned to say that to myself when everything hits so hard and all at once then little extra jabs come in as well to make it that much worse but just stop look around breathe and remember this will pass and its just a crazy moment and you will get through it , i know once i make my next move its gotta be my last im so tired of moving i just want a forever home at his point and just grow from that , sit out on the porch drink my favorite drink while its raining and just enjoy the simple life and have peace at last, big hugs and prayers coming your way

When we moved to our home we had trouble with the cablecompany. We had no tv or internet for 3 months! I spend hours on the telephone trying to get things done. I felt totally lost without your videos the last couple of days. So glad your back, don't forget WILL, he was awesome doing the filming and selling at your estate sale. He was sure good at that. We moved three years ago after 36 years in the same house. I worked for one year on sorting, tossing, organizing and packing. We used the pods system so we could have all the storage areas empty and cleaned before we showed the house. We had three separate pods in storage before we moved and we could have certain pods delivered when we were ready for them. It was the right system for us. Even with those positives we still had exactly 25 things go wrong with our move. Lord love a duck! It was so stressful! And you did it alone, girl!

Hi Danni, I have been watching your channel on The Computer at Work. We recently have had 2 auctions. The first weekend of July 1st and 2nd. Prior to that we removed the things that we loved and could not part with. We still had items come up. At auction that we missed!! Why do I tell you this?? Because I personally had about a half dozen meltdowns in a two week period. Thank God for friends and my wife Sally!! They helped me to realize that although I am strong, moving is at the top of the most stressful events in life. When you add to it the Utter Lack of responsibility on the part of every one of those we hired from any company... You reach a Breaking Point!! I admire your strength and resolve, but also your humanity. Thank you for sharing this video. It gives people strength and encouragement that we alone do not face challenges such as this. I think maybe it's been the "hardest move" for you cuz you had expectations that, that house was possibly going to be your forever house. And you are so right w/people..they just don't want to work now a days. You will make it through this!
