Anakin was redeemed though. He did fulfill the prophecy and bring balance to the galaxy. It didn’t last because Palps cheated death, but ultimately Anakin sacrificed his life to balance the force. If the Father, Daughter and Son are cool with it, then who are we to say he’s not redeemed?

@@davidwindell Just because he brought balance to the force doesn't mean he was redeemed for all the atrocities he committed. The right takeaway from Vader's story is that it's never too late to do the right thing, not that doing one right thing redeems or absolves you of your past sins.

It was so stupid to see Ezra escape from the Star Destroyer, fly to exactly where his friends are, land, dock, and he was either wearing the helmet THE WHOLE TIME or he decided to put it back on before getting off his ship! 😡

For clarification, there are FOUR DIFFERENT TYPES of CANON ZOMBIES in the Star Wars universe. Dead Troopers (stormtroopers who contracted a zombie disease) Night Troopers (using the Nightsister magic) Undead Nightsisters (also using the nightsister magic) And the Geonosis Brain Worms which seem to be able to infect any living (or dead) thing

Correct. The default setting for most electronic doors (whether in space or on our planet) is closed, and if they lose power or their connection to the control source, they will typically default to the setting.

That isn’t the only ship of that model. In fact, that model was mass produced. It could’ve been anyone inside, and Ezra would’ve had to have provided a clearance code prior to docking so they were likely pretty confident a good guy was aboard until he walked out as a trooper.

Instead of sinning us not seeing Ezra’s escape from the Star Destroyer (which is perfectly believable if you’ve seen Rebels) you should’ve sinned them cutting away from the hug between him and Hera- who most fans consider to essentially be his mom. Other than that though, I thought this was an excellent episode!

It wasn't quite as deadly to the galaxy as letting Thrawn come back. But Ahsoka did free Darth Maul from certain death aboard a prison ship during order 66 instead of letting him die.

Thrawn had several more TIEs ready to launch at the incoming Jedi and chose not to. The writers had to make him stupid in order to let the good guys sort of win. It's pretty annoying.

It was pretty clear that Thrawn was far more concerned with delaying the Jedi and preserving his resources than actually killing them. In fact, this was made explicitly clear in the actual show. Logically it made no real difference to him if they were dead or stuck in Peridea since there was no real way for them to return (and still isn’t since the Star Whales only travel there to die, thus Ashoka shouldn’t be able to use them to get home). He merely needed to slow them down and he used that absolute least amount of his troops necessary to do just that. He was a single force aided job from getting it perfect. Even so, he cared much more about leaving Ashoka there than Ezra, as evidenced by his outgoing message to her (not Ezra) wherein he claimed victory.

Star Wars villains are always stupid. Let's be honest, Palpatine laying a "trap" by giving the rebels the actual location of the UNFINISHED Death Star and exposing himself to their fleet with the risks involved, plus taking his attention away from the battle to recruit Darth Vader's son to the dark side (using the pitch of replacing Vader DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HIM before turning his back on him) is the height of stupidity. The issue is Disney Star Wars is even worse.

It wasn’t made for you I’m sure. Ashoka wasn’t some brilliant, groundbreaking series, and it wasn’t even as good as Andor or Mando, but it was entertaining from start to finish for those of us who enjoyed Rebels (and for my wife, who knows nothing about SW, thus Rebels wasn’t even required viewing to like Ashoka). If you hated it, you’re not the intended audience. Just curious, did you like Falcon and Winter Soldier or She Hulk? Because this was light years ahead of Marvel’s latest drivel.

Thinking about it, we could leave the show off right here and it would not cause any issues with the sequel trilogy. Sabine wouldn't be a Jedi Mandalorian interfering with the Mandalorians that just took back Mandalore. Ahsoka wouldn't be another Jedi in the wild, she could die in the Peridea galaxy and it wouldn't change anything.

Then we got Ewoks, Death Star resurrected, Greedo shooting first, Jar-Jar stepping in doo-doo, midichlorians, "spinning, that's a good trick", "I hate sand", "This is such a drag", Padme dying of sadness, "Noooooooooo!", Ewok adventures, Clone Wars movie... And that's all before Disney bought Star Wars. At least after that we got Rogue One, The Mandalorian, and Andor.

I feel bad for you. This was a decently written, well-acted, entertaining show. If you’re a SW fan and couldn’t find enjoyment in it, you’ve got something wrong. If you’re not a SW fan, the. This show wasn’t made for you and I’m not surprised you didn’t like it. This show is a very well created love letter to fans of the animated shows. If that’s not you, then you’re not the intended audience. That said, my wife knows nothing about SW, but she was almost as entertained by the series as me. Maybe it’s you that is broken, not new Star Wars. And for the record, I’m no shill. I will call a show awful when it’s She Hulk… I mean, truly an abomination, and I just can’t see how anyone could like Star Wars but feel the way you do about this series. Sure it’s no Andor, but it’s much closer to that than it is to Book of Boba Fett.
